  • Evening everyone.
Had a planned spend today but have 11 NSDs to date. Food budget very close to the knuckle but petrol is under at the moment (have some big essential trips coming up over the next couple of weeks).
Hubby finds out about his job tomorrow. Feel absolutely sick with worry. Been such a long week playing the waiting game. Long night ahead.

Everything is crossed for Mr Boo tomorow!
Well done on the NSDs, I do find that once you get into it, a NSD seems to become the norm, and a spend day abnormal!......A NSD for me today....all food was prepared and/or eaten at home and I didn't even waiver when asked if I wanted a jacket potato from the the shop (best JPs ever!)

I've started my temp promotion job....feels good and I think I will be about £300 a month better off for 3 months at least.

:jOnward........I want to see my overdraft gone by Easter! and than I will set about my most expensive credit card.........I can see a way forward! :j
  • Fingers crossed for Beckyboo and your hubby :grouphug:

However got soaked didn't stop raining and then some Pr4T decided to shower me while driving through a puddle too fast:mad:.
Managed to make £3.69 on fleaby, so will post them bits tomorrow. Come on, its a start!!!:o

cashed out another SB AGV today :) that's £20 so far this month, not bad, not bad! Budgeted for grocery shop today, and as it's all paid for on the pre-paid top-up card for Mr S I can count it as a NSD :D I bought 6 blocks of real butter (it was on offer so I stocked up), some kitchen roll with snowflakes on, and have come to realise that big bags of crisps are actually cheaper decanted into a large sandwich tupperware, then OH gets just a handful into his lunchbox each day. He loses weight, we savc the pennies :D oh and it's a bit more enviro friendly too.

Ohh AND I ran around in the snow this evening. Ran over to the tiny Mr S to get my points added to my loyalty card, on the way there it was raining, on the way back it was snow :D I looooove snow.

    Hi everyone!

Yesterday was a planned spend day... and my last one if I am to make the 25 challenge!!! Am going to have to think creatively and get my head around e-bay... Still went out for a nice meal (that I wasn' going to miss come what may), and bought in a few essentials. Alas - didn't make it to the supermarket so couldn't stock up on fruit... Have 1L of smoothie in the fridge for now.

So... the rest of this week... month... how many days is that??? 17 including today is about damage limitation. Am not going to starve I promise, but will aim to be as frugal as I possibly can do.

Was very pleased with myself as dragged my !!! to the gym for 1/2 hour before work yesterday! Hoorah! Aiming for 3 times per week at least.

No snow here... but is damn cold!!! Brrrrrrrr!!!

    Have a great day everyone!

Really sore from my exercise class yesterday and painting the bathroom at night. But also rummaged through some boxes and found some more jewellery I got given as a child to take for scrap gold on Wednesday :). Got quite a few coins too, might try them on ebay too as some seem to be fetching ok money. Should be an NSD today, number 12.

Have a good day and Good luck Beckyboo

Edit: just back from the jeweller and disappointed. Not much worth in scrap but at least got a good description of the items and will try ebay.

Attacked the filing cabinet yesterday.....1 drawer down one to go but at least now it is organised and a lot of junk gone!! Gonna take forever to shred it all cos my little shredder overheats then refuses to work!

    Morning :)

January's going okay, 9 NSDs so far, today should be another. Got lunch with me and an assignment to get on with tonight so won't be going anywhere this evening. eBay sales going well, got some on at the minute that I think should do well - I really hope so anyway, you never know! Awaiting payment for a couple of other items so will update my totals when that comes through.
Sent my Music Magpie stuff off on Friday and haven't had anything from them since, order history says they are still waiting for it - is that a normal timescale?

    Sholly x
