Afternoon all - another NSD here (number 8) but tomorrow is SW so there will be a spend. I also sold something else on ebay and they paid straight away - result!

I too have struggled with SB but I will heed the advice and try again.
In terms of adpoints there were only three ads today so I am beginning to worry about making my limit - have another 20 points or so to find.

Tonight I am off to a sewing class - a group of frineds that meet up sew and (hmm) gossip! Its a free and entertaining evening!
    44 day challenge

    Hi again everyone,

I've gone back over ALL of my spending this year and adjusted my signature accordingly to represent a true and honest account.

    Today = NSD number 4 (not 6!).

Whilst my budget has blown I can still limit the damage and aim for 20 NSD's this month, and at least stick within my food budget.

It feels good to know where I am and be back on track.

    :D

NSD 8 for me I have had a good day today nothing has broken yet ! Although that may be tempting fate :D I can get washer fixed for £50 so my ebay money covers it easily thank goodness. I am spending tonight searching for more things to ebay while I am on a roll. I have had to turn down 2 invites because they are not budgeted for.
I am thinking I have probably saved myself about £60 there. The invites were for a girly day shopping and a night out but I would usually have gone and thought I am worth it :o Now I have been ebaying I keep thinking how much I paid for the stuff in the first place its breaking my heart sometimes but it does make me really think about buying more stuff that would probably end up on ebay anyway :rotfl: hope you all had a good day p0lly x

Abundant your doing fine, sometimes things happen but at least you are still up for trying 20 NSDs :T
I had a bad day today. Flat tyre on my 2nd job of the day. Had to limp the car to my mums (luckily about 1/2 mile away) and then cadge a lift from her to job 3 of the day and then to pick up kids and then I had to change the tyre with a bit of instruction from my dad. DH has only been away 3 days  typical that 'man' jobs :D always rise out of the woodwork when he goes for months on end.
I'm just a bit worried how much the tyre will cost to repair/replace:eek: really dont want to have to use cc when i'm making headway into paying it off.
  • been absent since i have been doing 11 hour days, but been watching all of your posts.

didnt have a stir fry last night, i had a stir oven... basically veg was a bit to old and mangy to stir fry and so i roasted all the veg and then added it to some noodles and sauce.

  • Oh dear... I cracked today! hot chocolate in the cafe, bar of chocolate for the bus home and a bottle of wine in the supermarket (well, to drink at home not actually in the supermarket!). Also some tights but those were planned as my old ones are all past it.

Did a bit of food shopping too. I know it's not loads of damage on the unplanned spends front but I don't want it to be the start down a slippery slope. All because I hadn't taken anything into college to munch when I got hungry. Think I am a bit under the weather though, as I had my lunch when I got home and then slept for a couple of hours. I only ever do this when I'm a bit poorly so am putting it down to that. I'd planned a run today but didn't go for that, but I do feel much better for some extra sleep.

Petrol spends £30 - but need to get more at the weekend. I used most of this getting to my New Years Day triathlon, so hopefully £20 should do the rest of the month.

Food spends - if I include the NYE yellow stickers but exclude the wine (which I'm logging separately) this is at £32.84. I have loads in the freezer so will just need milk and veg for the rest of the month, so am fairly confident I will be inside my £80.

Other spends - £20 including wine, tights and postage. Was hoping this would be £35 for the whole month but it's looking tight now. Down to the tights haha. :D

I doubt I'll stick to the rules to the letter this month... but it has been hugely educational and I am loving the challenge and changing my spending habits. I'm hoping to start the book selling tomorrow, and get some recordings done to help me on the hunt for summer work.

I GOT THE TEMP PROMOTION !

Very happy, a little bit extra a month will help.

A NSD as well, so all is well in my little world.........except feeling tired, I went to bed early, and now I've woken up and can't get back to sleep as now very excited about the new job!

I am going to eat something and hope that helps me sleep (worth a try!)

Well done Marylea :j That's fab news. If you use the extra money to pay off your debts, you'll whizz through them :D And, if this does all end in a few months (let's hope you have the opportunity to dazzle them and make it permanent!!), you'll not have grown used to the extra money so you'll not miss it.

I'm up early as well. I woke at 1.30  and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm up, showered and fed - no doubt I'll pay the price tonight!

Does anyone know how to get the smell of soup out of a flask? I've lost count of the number of washes I've given it. I stored the flask with the lid off for the last month and I can still smell the remnants of lentil soup :(

So kat, we're all dying to know if you had a NSD yesterday at the Transport Museum...or not ;)

All still on track with the JBFF plan...
    NSD: 8
    Spend: £14.43
    Earned: £45.00
    Found: 17p
Rubbish Food Consumed: Mostly knocked on the head, back to the batch cooking from scratch
Water Consumed: Meh, not as easy as it sounds!
