I telephoned T-mobile today to request my PAC code. I had a very confusing telephone call. I gave my 30 days notice with the comnpany, and I received my PAC code. My contract expires on 13th February 2014, and I was advised I would receive my final bill after this date. I enquired about ETF, and I was told I should use the PAC code on or around the 10th February. I was also told if I used my code tomorrow I would receive a ETF in my final billTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0

I will let you know, I don't want to leave T-Mobile, but the company would not give me the same package at the price I have now. What is even more strange is I saw the offer yesterday at my local ee store, and I saw my current package being advertised. Too late now, I am going elsewhere, similar package, and £4.00 a month cheaper (£48.00 cheaper over the 12 months). of course EE might call me to tempt me back, but it will need to match where I am going.
I am sure I will see a ETF though, as fellow moneysavers suggest your dammed when leaving ontime, your damed when leaving early, and your damed if you leave late. I will let you know my experiencesTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
Very Angry at the moment with T-Mobile.
in case you have not read my contributions above I will summerize:
1) 13th January 2014 Provide T-Mobile with 30 day notice. I am awarded my pac code.
2) 18th January 2014 I receive a message on "my bill" for £43.49, wait over ten minutes for the company to answer my telephone call. I explain to T-Mobile why is there a message displayed showing £43.49 to pay on 2nd Feb (usual bills are around £16.00) told a Early Termination fee is applied which is ££26.63
Told the ETF is correct, even though the contract ends on 13th February (30 days time). Eventually T-mobile inform me the charge is now incorrect, but the customer advisor can not make changes as the bill has not been generated, only the amount (no idea what that means) advised a team leader would be emailed to make the changes, and when enquired, told I should get my onbill on monday (although I always receive it on 18th of each month online)
Why does this company behave like this???? I still have not used the PAC code as yet. without this thread, I would never of challenged this chargeTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

OK.
They are crooks and keep doing this because very few of their victims challenge them. Easy money.0 -
yes, there is something very much underhand on the way T-Mobile treat there customers. Poor retention deals, and now charging early termination fees just for requesting a PAC code and providing the company with 30 days notice.
On a separate issue, I telephoned there customer service today to unlock my nokia lumas 520, and was told phone company can not do that because I did not purchase the handset directly from them, even though it is locked to this company, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. now having to decide what action to take nextTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Where have you bought it then?
Are you sure it is locked?
If it is locked you've been told rubbish once again. They have to unlock it, although they can charge for this.0 -

Hello Grumbler,
my handset was purchased from Argos.
Yes I am sure it is locked, as I put a vodaphone sim in the handset
T-Mobile informed me to return back to the original place I purchased the handset. Yes I am aware there might of been a charge, as the EE store I visited said it would cost between £21.00 - £26.00Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0
