  • might be worth letting ofcom know, the more people that complain the more likely it is that they'll step in.

  • After 45 min on the phone to them this morning they said that £34 was going to be taken off the bill and that my online balance should show update today. Not sure where they got £34 from but just checked my balance and its not updated yet and still showing the same.

They also sent a text to my phone saying how much would be taken off the bill.

Does the tmobile balance at the weekend take longer to update does anyone know

Have they not told you the same on Tuesday and similarly failed to keep their promises?
  • Not sure what you mean?

They told me yesterday they would make the adjustment on my account by the end of the day. Just had a look, outstanding balance is exactly the same.
Still shows that weekdays make no difference.
  • Hi all,

Well my balance has now updated but its infact less than i calculated so tmobile still cant get it right.

    Balance - £50.40

    Should be - £56.14

Does anyone know when and how long last bills take for tmobile to produce and are they posted or done online?

The person on the phone on sat said i might get a months refund back if i paid up one months upfront at the start of contract which am not to sure is true. Again as anyone had this?

I expect more phone calls to them when i get my last bill and also my next bill for the 2nd phone in use still.

Refunds at the end of contract are common, but this is because you pay for about half month upfront throughout the contract, not just at the start.

  • @grumbler - yep its a week later and there's no change on my account balance, despite the two earlier phone calls and two separate promises of cancelling the balance.

during the second call i said to the rep 'when will this be actioned', answer 'by the end of the day', question 'will i get confirmation of the adjustment', answer 'yes', question 'in what form, email or letter', answer 'yes email or letter'. tbh i think he just wanted to get me off the line.
  • Ask for the confirmation by text which is what I did and wait for it to come before you hang up. I have a record of texts from the CS teams with all my changes

I (eventually) got a PAC yesterday for one of my tm contracts. I have had to argue this question before, so I made a point of asking the cancellations person about the early termination fee, on the assumption that the call is recorded (for training purposes only, you understand).
But you only wise up to doing things like that AFTER having been bitten once.
