  • i have had my bake on!! *insert cheesy American accent

Made some choc crispie cakes with marshmallows and popcorn added in, twinks hobnobs: plain, raisin and white choc chips and some raspberry buns. Then got too hot and ran out of ideas!! Lots more i could have done cake wise but then I would have to eat them.

Have possibly sorted out swimming lessons for the boys in sept. it is a cost that will reduce available money but I see it as a nessecity really. Need to talk to ds1 about his guitar lessons. Has been doing it for a year and seems to have got no where as wont practice. Not sure he's that into it. That money could then pay for the swimming.........

  • £1.28 transferred to the debt fund today.

Swimming lessons booked. Very happy as its a good skill to learn yet exercise too!
Ds1 adamant he still wants to do his guitar, so has been told I will pay for another term but will be his last if he doesn't practice and make an improvement. Has been doing it for a year now and still learning chords. At the end of every lesson we get told he needs to practice. Must be so frustrating for the teacher!!

Mortgage comes out tomorrow and we have increased the amount of money in the account before it comes out by £100 :D only £400 to go and the mortgage won't take us in the overdraft :j
Small things make me happy and motivated not to go backwards. Budget tight next month as childcare to pay for and it's ds2's birthday. But I will manage to keep it level. I have to.

Reading back over old diaries and have come along way. We used to live in a £4k overdraft and lived very close the overdraft wall.

  • pinch and a punch its the first of the month!!!! White rabbit.

Mortgage gone out, 36p paid to the debt fund and £200 winging its way to the Halifax cc. The direct debit hasn't been changed but they have upgraded the online so now I can add a faster payment! :)

Didn't sleep well at all last night, loads going round my head. Numbers, plans, wishes............ Ds2 has gone to work with the hubby today and ds1 itching to go out and play. Easy day for me:)

Gonna list a few items of clothing on fb and see if I can get some extra money. This will go towards ds2's birthday.

  • well it's payday so money transferred to debt fund. My pay rise equals an extra £30 in cash so that's now sat nicely in the debt fund.

Back to work for me today :(

  • I dont have my mil living with us anymore, moved out last year sometime after the wedding i think. She has got a nice little flat now.

Was a short and sweet post this morning, prob the shock of having to go back to work. :rotfl:

Spent just under £80 on shopping this week. Got a bit of fruit for me at work and veg so i can do a nice veg and lentil soup for my lunches. Weather has turned nasty here with rain and thunderstorms so salads not cutting it. Had a yellow sticker spinach and ricotta cannaloni for my lunch today which was very yummy. Will be soup tomorrow.

All my baking has been eaten up, so need to do some more. Gonna do some banana bread with the left over bananas, but may freeze it for when the kids go back to school and have lunch boxes. Although it would make a nice pudding with custard on...............................

Ds2 has decided he wants most of the toys in the arg0s book for his birthday. Trying to narrow it down :rotfl: Going to take him and ds1 to the cinema on his birthday to watch "planes" as a treat instead of a party. He loved cars so really wants to go see it.
