Can anyone give me the scan bran chocolate cake recipe. You can actually use dark bran ryvita instead but I have lost the recipe
  • Yesterday someone posted that they had made dynorod soup ha ha. As I could do with something to clear me out so efficiently before weigh in on Monday, could someone post the recipe please.

    Thanks guys.

This is one recipe that someone in our group did for Wednesday and it was the best I've ever tasted - so good I'm going to try and make it where as before I wasn't fussed :) 9 syns for the lot, it makes nice cupcakes

    Low syn chocolate cake

    5scan bran
    3beaten eggs
    1level tablespoon golden syrup
1oz coco powder or the light drinking chocolates.
    1/2 mug sweetner about 125g.

Soak the scan bran in boilong water to soften. Add water a bit at a time so its not too soggy.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl but let the scan bran cool so it doesn't cook the eggs.

I put mine in the oven about 170 degrees for 23 minutes. The cakes will spring back to touch like a normal cake.

I think the Dynorod soup is in the first few pages I think, or a link to the recipe thread maybe. If it isn't I'll find the link on the older thread and post a link here in a minute :)

...couldn't see it on this thread but here is the recipe: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=40940320&postcount=5

Up so early to help bf get in to the car to get to work. Ramp wasn't so bad this morning but I have swept and gritted it and will go and clear (just sweeping) some of the neighbours paths later - we live on a sheltered housing estate that it supposed to be gritted in bad weather and with a cover manager (ours is lovely but on holiday) only by the main/managers house has been gritted! so bf's parents have given me a bag of gritted for our ramp and I have a stiff broom to clear some snow.

Actually if I go out I will go and see if any of the neighbours need anything from the shop as they are all elderly and I would hate to hear of one of them falling!

    Today:

Too early for a proper breakfast yet so have had 2 mini waffles (1syn ea) with a little jam (1syn) [so three syns]

I will make breakfast bran flakes (HeB) with milk (1/2HeA), satsuma

Lunch will be poached egg on toast (2nd HeB) I think, with a banana and satsuma

Dinner: chicken, rice and veg sauce (5.5syn) like I've been trying to have all week with a load of stemfresh veggies

Total: 8.5syn - good as at the chip shop buffet I had 2 small fish and 2small battered sausages and only took the batter off one of each :p but I didn't have my extra B choice.

Trying to maintain by adding an extra HeB worries me slightly = slightly scared to start upping my intake of bread/cereal again!
