Hello, can I join you lovely lot please.
Have been reading for the last 10 days or so. I joined my local SW group last Thursday and weighed in at 12st 5lbs, followed EE all week and at the weigh in last night lost 2lbs.
Was hoping for a bigger lost for my first week, as I followed the plan to the letter.
On a positive note though I usually suffer from heartburn very baldly and have not had any at all this week. Could also be because I've changed my role at work for a less stressful one, yes its a pay drop, but I should be ALOT happier.
Here's looking forward to a great 2nd week.
Todays food is EE
B, 2 weetaix heb with a bannana and skim milk hea
L, carrot and lentil soup, with a superfree salad and some fruit.
S, fat free yogurt
D, quorn Bolognese, with pasta and greenbeans
Followed by some fruit.
Tonight will use around 10 syns maybe a highlights and some form of chocolate.
Hope everyone has a great day.Jue0 -
Morning all, what a day, snowed big time over night. I got up ready to go to school as we had arranged to open late and close early like the day before but Head took the decision to close but not until I was about to walk out the door  but at least I get a day off
.
Its son's Birthday today so being home with him is nice. We took dog out and had great fun in the snow, never to old to make snow angels are you? :rotfl: Also great fun standing under low branches and shaking snow all over each other :rotfl:. Snowing again, am so glad i'm inside now, was fun though.
Food will be flexi as Birthday boy having special meal but hopefully not to synful.
Have a good day all and stay safe and warm wherever you are :AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hello everyone!
I decided this week to re-join slimming world after some time off and some weight on!! As we have moved house I have had to go to a different group but I don't like it, I didn't find it as friendly and welcoming as others I have been to. So I've decided to try and follow it myself from home.
I know I won't do it without 'reporting' to somebody, so to speak, so I'm hoping this may be the best way for me to do it.

Hi all,
Well done Stef and Banjo on your losses
Macpep- that's not bad at all, you'll get that off in no time!
Snowing here last night and today- not loads (it's sticking but not very deep at all) but I know some people are using it as an excuse not to come in to work today.
Green for me I think - going to be low on the SF but it's only one day, plus i need to carbs to keep warm! I've always been a cold creature but is worse since I lost weight and am eating less rubbish!
B: Cheese omelette (A), pitta (B)
L: Jacket spud, beans and salad
T: Not sure yet - either pasta with cheese as B or something with chips and another pitta as B
S: Pineapple and Mullerlight that didn't get eaten yesterday, milk for day (A), Freddo (5), hot choc (2)
I'm away on a course all next week so unless I get chance to pop on in the week will 'see' you all a week on Monday2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]
2012: [STRIKE]Start renovating new house (aka open enormous can of worms)[/STRIKE] _pale_

Weight loss - Apr '12 -Sept '13: 95lb0 -
I need you to give me a virtual kick up the backside please. Lost a paltry 1lb in my first week but according to my scales at home (which are the same as official SW scales) I have not lost a single ounce since then (due to weigh in tomorrow). Feeling slimmer and my tight trousers a fortnight ago are now fitting but why arent the scales telling me that I have had a big loss? Have followed EE to the rule again this week so expect a big weight loss tomorrow but it doesn't look like that will be the case. My s-i-law started the same time as me, has less to lose and has lost half a stone in two weeks. Thinking EE isnt for me and I may go back to the green/original days.
Not a happy bunny.
ETA I have also had chronic wind (sorry if too much info) and constipated one minute, literally running to the loo the next? Is that normal??0 -
Well we are back home - no tournament
Seeing as plans have changed we will now be going out to dinner tonight with bf's parents which will be lovely
Plus rest of weekend will be more SW friendly after tonight - so there's some positives in it all.
Will use the extra time to plan some fundraiser ideas ready for a meeting I have on Monday.
Hope everyone is ok with whatever amount of snow they have had (none since yesterday and only a few cm for us!)************************************

Well this snow is certainly causing havoc here, west midlands/staffs/leics border. It has taken over 3 hours to drive 10.5 miles around the town centre!!! It is awful. Thought we were being clever avoiding back roads to fetch daughter from work and would go via M42, what a mistake, it has taken longer to get across the town to the motorway than it did coming the back lanes home.
Have given myself a day off from SW today because im fed up of being so regimented with the meal plans to see the disappointing difference on scales. So with that in mind meals today have been 2 hifi bars before going out, morrisons hot beef sandwich and chips for lunch and then a chinese for tea = chinese will be the first one in a year!!! so looking forward to that.
Hope everyone else is managing in the snow and not ground to a halt. Good luck to anyone contemplating heading out to get near the scales. My consultant has asked for ideas where to have her group weigh in tomorrow as the usual school venue is closed and wont allow her to open up for a couple of hours so sending her ideas to ring round now as she isnt from over this side of the town.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
