i hate it when i have no fresh food in the house and i have to start using heavily synned food ..i have packs of oat so simple porridge (plain) to be used that are now synned at 5 per pack .
ETA - if i had more milk in i would have better off having the porridge. Those morrisons sausages are rank and taste like cardboard.

Well done Lush - what a great achievement! Don't know if I'll be organised enough to post my food everyday but will try and would welcome any feedback!

It is a new book thing. They were mentioned in class this week, something about there not being enough fibre so not being eligible for HEB, although AFAIK the calories etc are the same. I know that previously because the portion size is <35g, to be included as a HEB it had a Ryvita tacked onto it, again for the fibre I think so not sure what's changed. Tbh I have some plain ones in the cupbord and I'm not going to count them as syns, seems like madness when you can have more oats (i.e. the same thing) as a HEB.
(BTW I'm not suggesting people should tweak the plan, so for any newbies, you should stick to the values in the book- this is just my opinion based on values before xmas)

I’m new to Slimming World (just had my 2nd WI – 6.5lbs down so far) and I’m still getting my head around how it works. I have a couple of questions that I wanted to ask our consultant at WI last night but she was busy registering new members so I didn’t get a chance. So I thought I’d post them here. Sorry if these are things that have already been covered a hundred times.
I’m following the extra easy plan so you have free and superfree foods and I know 1/3rd of your meal is supposed to be superfree food. So if I have meat, potato and veg I know that the veg (the superfree stuff) should take up 1/3rd of the plate. That’s fine. But what do I do when I have something like spaghetti bolognaise, spaghetti carbonara, gammon, egg and SW chips or even a SW fry up for breakfast? These are the kind of meals that I’ll eat without any veg (with the exception of a bit of onion and carrot in the bolognaise). I don’t really like salad so having a side salad isn’t an option and as for the SW fry up I’ll have some plum tomatoes but the only veg thing I can think that would be suitable is mushrooms and I hate them.
So for some meals I’m not eating 1/3rd superfree. I try to make sure I eat my superfree foods elsewhere (I’ll have veg soup for lunch and will snack on fruits) but I don’t think that’s inline with the EE plan. I’m obviously losing at the moment but I don’t want to get further down the line and find I’m not losing weight because of this. What do you do?
My other question is in relation to syns. I know you can have up to 15 syns a day and they say to use between 5-10 syns but do you have to use these? I did WW before and we were encouraged to eat all of our points. So is SW similar where they encourage you to eat your points? If I don’t use my daily syns can I save them up and use them later in the week. For example save 5 syns for a few days and use 30 syns at the weekend?0 -
