Hello again
I do love reading this thread and getting some great ideas and ispiration.
Ive just been to weigh in and in my first week i have lost 3lb which i am very proud of.
im not sure i was following the plan properly, after doing green/red on and off over the years the EE plan just seems a bit wrong. I have enjoyed it though and my main goal was to start cooking and ive certainly achieved that.
I havent planned this weeks meals again, i seem to really struggle with that side of it all but i have filled my kitchen up with loads of fruit, veg, and all the good stuff.
I hope everyone else is having a good day xx:APlanning on being debt free:A0 -
Hi all can i join please? My baby boy is 5 months old and in the next few months we want to start trying for another baby but I need to lose some weight first!I felt so uncomfortable with my son I dont want to feel like that again! I'd like to lose around 3-4 stone but dont mind how long it takes. I'll be mostly doing green and red days as i like having the 2 HEs. Todays food is red-can I post my meal plan for people to check over please?

I'd also like to report my first 'going it alone' weigh in and I can report a hearty 4lb loss! :j
Which brings my total loss since starting to 6stone 8lbs. (thats counting the 4lb gain too)
I am really glad that I have proved to myself that I don't need to keep shelling out for group AND I can still lose weight.
Now thats empowerment. I wouldn't have done it if not for having the books and this wee thread so thank you for giving me an extra £5 a week to play with!0 -
Afternoon all!
So far today:
Up super early to run in to town so just had a plain mini waffle before running out (1syn)
Lunch: 1 ham sandwich (HeB of wholemeal roll), satsuma and jelly (0.25 syn)
snack: mini waffle (2syn - 1 for waffle, 1 for jam)
Dinner will be chicken and bacon (lean, grilled) with chips for the bf and smash for me. Added veggies of course
Ahh WI tomorrow - hopefully I've pulled off the 2lb loss. The £5 a week I save will go towards more fruit, especially with better weather coming later in the year. Roll on summer with berries, melon and all the other fresh stuff - rarely do I look forward to summer but I can't wait now.
Almost ready for the weekend away! plan is:
Friday night either a beef eater or a table table so I will make reasonably good choices - well try to!
Saturday; breakfast: instant porridge pot, banana&satsuma. Lunch: sandwich (possibly white bread unless I remember to lift some wholemeal out of the freezer), fruit and cereal bar. Dinner: chinese takeaway (we are getting one big order of what we each want so bf and I will get as close to our usual as possible = safe!) plenty of running around and activity as its league weekend and I have a workshop to be at 12-4!
Sunday: Breakfast: instant porridge pot, banana and satsuma. Lunch: as above also.
Sandwiches will be ham and cheese - not sure of any other way to get my HeA in. Fingers crossed that it goes ok (both food wise and tournament wise)
Have done more exercise and eaten better (well excluding Saturday) this week so hopefully have sent that last 2lb packing!************************************

I'm going off plan at the weekend (just for Saturday/Sunday) as it's either what I have already planned or hospital/sports centre food (not chippy runs as its a sports tournament!
I'll be running around a heck of a lot so I'm not too worried. Will mostly be chowing down on fruit as usually I'm so busy sorting everyone else out that lunch becomes an apple here, a banana or such there. Plus I'll be on the workshop so not much time for eating.
I'm not too worries, really looking forward to it actually************************************

Hi
I new.... not to MSE but to this thread
I have quietly been reading this thread since the 3rd of Jan and I just want to say "Thank you" to you all for inspiring me to join. I have done my first week and I have lost 6.5lb in the first week
I did WW for 7 months and put everything back on I had lost plus 3lbs :0
This is the first time in my adult life (now 30) can actually see this working. So I have set myself a target in advance of 70lbs to lose.
Good luck everyone and thank you all again for your inspiring posts
