Thank you so much both of you, really love this thread and especially the wonderful people in here. As I don't go to group I don't know what I would do without you all :A:A:A:A:A:A

Am surprised how low the deli boxes are and the thins are low enough for me to have another one now :rotfl:
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • Evening all! Hope it's not too late for a newbie to join in... Have been lurking on the thread for a few days and just wanted to say what a lovely supportive bunch you all are! Quick potted history: lost 3st on SW and kept it off for just over a year... Basically I've put a stone on since summer and got a nasty shock when I got on the scales at the weekend. I'm still just within a normal BMI but I sure don't look or feel good so am getting back on the SW wagon! My original group in Leeds were great but sincewere moving across the Pennines, the groups I attended as a target member were not as well run so would prefer to do do it this way, checking in with all you lovely people and saving some money on my debt free journey to boot! Have lots of recipes to share so will start posting them on the recipes thread x

Well I have done another 6 days and lost 1/2 lb I'm sure I'm eating too much. How come some people lose 5 and 6 lb? Do you think it's because I can't exercise. Exercise burns off calories and gets your metabolism going, am I right?
    To morrow it's E E. A Milk in brews
    B banana and yoghurt
S Crumpet and butter 6 syns
L Mushroom Soup. lettuce tomato egg, roast pork slice of bread B
    piece of fruit
    S 2 rice biscuits/ butter 4 syns
D Chicken potatoes carrots, and peas, Apple
Is this too much.. please can someone tell me,

Try looking in your optimising book again at the symbols next to each food you are eating. Look for S or SS foods. This is what i have been told to do. You need to be eating more at breakfast, and theres only carrots as SF in your tea.

    Morning all,

    Beanie- well done, fab loss!

Stef - hope your hubby is feeling better and all is ok

Sharalee - hope you're feeling a bit brighter today.Try and think positively about it, about all the opportunities he'll have. My SIL and her husband are both in the RAF and they love it - been to Australia, India and loads of other places that they wouldn't normally have gone to :)

Well just a half off for me this week but all in the right direction. If I'm honest I didn't count everything as strictly as I should have done over the weekend so a half is probably justified. Planning to be super good and write everything down this week as I'll miss WI next week then am away on a residential course for 5 days, all catered  The aim is to be sensible...

    EE today:
    B: Porridge (B), milk (A), banana, raisins (3.5)
L: Bacon and egg salad, Turkish delight Muller, satsuma
T: Chicken Massaman curry (2.5), rice
    S: Freddo (5)

Have a good day all :)

Thank you so much! Yes, feel much better about it today thank you. Once I started crying yesterday, I couldn't seem to stop lol.
Normal service is resumed today. Off work so going to jump in the shower, patch my face up (eyes look dreadful lol) and off to the beach for a brisk walk with DH (who was wonderful yesterday) and the hound. Gonna make SW turkey meatballs and herbed tagliatelle for tea.
Thanks to those who had kind words yesterday. DS1 is still making his way down to the RAF base. As we live offshore on an island, it takes us forever to get anywhere :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a super day :D

Well done to beanie :j, :T

Stef - Hoping that your OH makes a swift recovery :)

    Newbies - Hello :wave::wave:

I went to get re-signed up again last night , consultant has put on at least a stone (poss more??) since i was last there a year ago . Not that i can talk i have gained 11.5lbs since october :o:o. So ashamed of myself :(.

I left group feeling mortified and motivated but then also wanted to have one last pig out to make myself feel better about the gain *face palm*:o. Anyway i shouted at myself somewhat and gave the pig out a miss - one small step in the right direction.

So today for me is EE

    B - 3 giant field mushrooms & 3 slices of turkey rashers
L - HM Tuna pasta bake topped with hex a low fat cheese.Side of veggies
D - Gammon steak with mixed spice rubbed in and SW chips. Slice (or 2) of fresh pineapple on top :D. Portion of carrots on side.

Snacks - an apple, low fat toffee muller light, options hot choc (1.5 syns) and pack of bernard matthews turkey chunks.

ETA - just realised i need a B choice so will have a hifi later on after dinner

double ETA - will also use a few syns too - not sure what on though?

Hope everyone has a nice day !!

RFD, Have you checked the values of your hot choc as some of them have gone up.

Thanks for all the well wishes for my husband, he is now able to walk fairly comfortably on it but pain still present when touched.

Hope everyone has a great day and the scales are kind to all.

Unplanned day here so looking at EE,
B, frozen mixed berries with nat yogurt
    L, erm not sure
T, something with minced beef as thats whats in the fridge.
