  • Hi all

I've been reading through the thread for the last few days now and want to post to help keep me motivated.

I rejoined SW after a 6yr absence and OMG I can't believe how different things are:eek:. 8 syns in a large wine!!!!!

I've been writing everything down to take to class on Wednesday as I fee I haven't lost anything at all.

    Today I have had:
B - fruit salad (melon, grapes, rasberries, blueberries), FF yoghurt
L - 1 slice WW 400g bread (3), 2 slices of grilled bacon with all fat removed
D - grilled cod in soy sauce, boiled baby potatoes, chopped cucumber, grated carrot and baby beats

Snacks - Walkers stars (4.5), Hartleys jelly pot (0.5)

If I get peckish later I will have 2 Weetabix (B) with SS milk (A) to tide me over.

This is a typical Monday for me as I'm at home. Can anyone see anything I can improve on?

Hello...:j are you followed Red/Green/Extra Easy?

Thank you for all the lunch ideas everyone - fab :j:T:j:D
  • Then it looks fine to me. Just remember pasta rice and potatoes - as much as you need to have. 1/3 superfree to really make a diff.
Peas, Sweetcorn are not super free - many of us forget ;)
    welcome back..!
    2 Weetabix (B) with SS milk (A)
Try the bix with FF yog and fruit for extra snack proofing :) instead of the non filling milk use warm water to soften if you like it that way. Toffee ff yog and crunchy bix is a nice change - some times ;)

I would say you need more superfrees especially at lunch where there are none. EE needs to be 1/3 of your plate/day superfree.

Can I ask the wonderful people [person :D] here to check go ahead choc/orange thins for me pleaseeeeeee. Have asked before but being brain dead most of the time can't remember where I wrote it down :o.

Also I saw some Batchelors Deli boxes in Sainos today and was wondering what the damage would be for them, high I expect.

    Todays grub has been: Green
    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee x2
    S - apple
    L - lentil/bacon soup with pasta, apple & yog, 2x cherry toms, choc/orange thin [?]
T - last of old stock lentil/bacon soup & pasta
    Syns [?]
Need another A+B hmmmmmm with think on it.
Hubby has made new batch of l/b soup and its tastes so much better than the last lot. We worked out the tangy taste may have been some stem ginger. None in new batch so nice and spicy with lots of superfrees [mushrooms, onions, carrots].

Oh on a red day remember the three p's which aren't free - potatoes, parsnips and peas [that was what I was told when I went to group].
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
