    Morning all

Well done to beanie :j, :T

Stef - Hoping that your OH makes a swift recovery :)

    Newbies - Hello :wave::wave:

I went to get re-signed up again last night , consultant has put on at least a stone (poss more??) since i was last there a year ago . Not that i can talk i have gained 11.5lbs since october :o:o. So ashamed of myself :(.

I left group feeling mortified and motivated but then also wanted to have one last pig out to make myself feel better about the gain *face palm*:o. Anyway i shouted at myself somewhat and gave the pig out a miss - one small step in the right direction.

So today for me is EE

    B - 3 giant field mushrooms & 3 slices of turkey rashers
L - HM Tuna pasta bake topped with hex a low fat cheese.Side of veggies
D - Gammon steak with mixed spice rubbed in and SW chips. Slice (or 2) of fresh pineapple on top :D. Portion of carrots on side.

Snacks - an apple, low fat toffee muller light, options hot choc (1.5 syns) and pack of bernard matthews turkey chunks.

ETA - just realised i need a B choice so will have a hifi later on after dinner

double ETA - will also use a few syns too - not sure what on though?

Hope everyone has a nice day !!

That is a huge step in the right direction and half the battle I think, when you are in the mood for a binge it is soooooo difficult not to do it.

I have lost 1lb this week which is slightly disappointing, I have stuck to plan completely, walked over 70 miles, done 30 day shred every day so I was hoping for more. I still have another 2 1/2lbs of Christmas weight left to lose.

All the usual people were there with their 'I've had 4 takeways this week and still managed to lose 3lbs, how funny' yes hilarious. Another woman was sulking because she only lost 1 1/2lbs and she had only had 1 takeaway this week :rotfl:.
Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j

Kjmtidea that is exactly how i have been feeling with SW of late. Im sticking to plan, posting here everyday for someone to jump out and say this needs altering and keeping a diary to take to consultant and getting a STS. While like you say others are sitting around you gloating they arent following it all eating out left right and centre and losing decent amounts, while i sit back thinking i cant wait for next week and the gain that will be unexpected hitting them in the faces :rotfl:

Try looking in your optimising book again at the symbols next to each food you are eating. Look for S or SS foods. This is what i have been told to do. You need to be eating more at breakfast, and theres only carrots as SF in your tea.
    Thanks Stef will do.
more cauli broccoli mushrooms toms and lettuce ect.
fruit are SF aren't they too? But I seem to be eating a lot of food.

Do you think some of the high sugar levels could be due to the dried banana and sultanas? I pick out the banana bits an only eat the flakes and sultanas in it.

I have no idea how much. There will be some natural sugars possibly from the freeze dried rock hard occasional banana slice and sultana or three, but no doubt most of the 24g of sugar in it will be the added in evil stuff.

Not as bad as frosties, crunchy nut cornflakes, sugar puffs and coco pops which are all around 35g per 100g.

Rice krispies at 11g, cornflakes at 8g and shredded wheat at about 1g are 3 of the lowest ones I can find on a typical supermarket shelf.

Special K, the advertised dieters choice has 18.5g !!!!!

Yes superfree foods do include fruit as long as its fresh.
You are eating more food than usual but because it is low density it is filling enough to eat and tide you over but is less in calories and nasties than what originally caused the weight gain.
Fruits to look for that as SS are berries and citrus fruits. Veg wise they are mainly S foods so although they are speed foods not a super speed. Bulking up on these and making sure you know you are having at least 1/3rd means your weight loss will be going in the right direction.
