Is 5 packets of crisps bad!? I don't know why I do it. Really fed up now and considering the chocolate truffles that are in the fridge in the garage.

Ah, we've all been there and don't know why we do it either! :( A binge doesn't have to lead to a bad week or even a bad day - just remember, if you dropped your phone would you pick it up and dust it off or jump on it to well and truly smash it up?! Cheesy I know but it is something to think about.

Thanks, have been a member of one of the FB groups for a while so have just been observing from a distance, but it has intrigued me for a while. I still maintain that my weekly post-WI feast doesn't do any harm for the reason you say. I like the idea of it because some days I am happy to eat little but other times, especially when have an occasion, I want to eat/drink more and the linear nature of SW doesn't always fit that (partly depends if you subscribe to saving syns or not I suppose). I basically devised my own diet a few years ago which consisted of eating very little for a few days and going out and eating and drinking with my friends on some days, and lost loads. Fair enough I was probably in a big calorie deficit overall but the nights of loads of alcohol and some pizza and cake didn't do me any harm, so I'm hoping this way of eating will suit me. Nearly hometime and not really hungry (only had drinks so far today) but looking forward to my tea :)

Anyway, this is why I didn't want to bring this up on here (not your fault for bringing it up RFD and Cariad, mine for banging on for so long!) - don't want to get off topic or speak ill of SW as it is a great diet ad it does work, but I just felt it was time for a change.

IMHO SuziQ - you would be better to go to group for at least 1 week rather than spend out money on eBay books - at the moment with the reveal offer it is £4.95 to join which gives you a pack with all the information & a talk from the consultant which should reinforce your understanding

I think you are right Nessie, and I have located a local group Thursday morning. I can only find offer online which means it will cost me £9.95 including the class fee- is that what you mean? Or what is the 'reveal' offer please?

The more I have read, the more I am sure I need to go to at least one meeting and get to understand the plan better! For some reason I found it hard to understand last time and was constantly being told that I wasn't eating enough and leaving out important options, lol! No one would believe I used to work as a highly trained nurse when I can't follow a simple diet!
I'm in the 14-13 zone, having started in the 20-19 ( can barely believe I'm typing that!) and aiming for 12-11, ASAP!

Can I show my ignorance and ask what this means please ?
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
  • Ughh. Aside from fathers day, I'd been good. Until I had to call Tax credits.
How. Flaming. Stressful. I have always known I comfort eat... I didn't need their help. Tommorow is weigh in. This is the 3rd week that I've mucked up the day before.

WI tonight only 1/2lb off but at least it's a loss. Leader said I needn't worry about eating too much free food and to fill my plate up. I am worried I can't eat all that much as I am quite short, but hey ho I will try that. If it doesn't work I will try red and green days for more structure.

Yum, just had the most delicious dinner - red onion sausages, bacon, egg, mushrooms, SW chips & baked beans - simple but so, so yummy. Will complete my superfree with fruit later but I had a salad for lunch which was 2/3rds of my plate so not too worried about this meal ;)

Hi SuziQ it just a little thing we started a few posts ago.. I got the idea from another site that talks about SW.
Your in a weight bracket accoring to your weight.
    I weigh 11. 11 1/2lb so Ian in the 11 to 10st bracket
Or yards as we seem to have adopted
Hense the losing the lard to get into the next yard.
I thought I would have been in the 11 to 12st bracket but was corrected on the other site as the 11st 10st zone
It's a bit confusing I know but welcome to join until you go down into the lower yard. Bit like the old fashioned yards at school
    Hope that makes sense.

Following on from my post earlier. Do people pile up their plates with free food potatoes pasta ect or do you restrain your portions of free food.

Neither really, just what I think I'll be able to eat (in total on the plate) - sometimes it's more than others!
