Just back from holiday and straight back on plan today. Got a few days to try and shift a bit of the damage done whilst away!

Plan until WI on Thurs am

    Mon - Green
    B: mushroom omlette
L: egg mayo sandwich (HEB + 1 syn)
D: chicken in black bean sauce with rice (HEB + 3.5 syns)

    HEA - milk in tea
    Syns: mayo - 1
    black bean sauce - 3.5
    small strawberry split - 1.5
    Total syns - 6

    Tues: Red
B: Natural yog with tinned pears (HEB)
L: Sardines in lemon and basil (unfortunately not available in UK - bought in France when on holiday!) with salad
D: Somerset pork casserole with (HEB) potatoes using a packet mix (need to check syns - now done, the whole pack is 6 so I think my portion will be 2 as I reckon the casserole will do a portion each for me and DH tonight plus a portion for DH to take to work tomorrow)
    HEA - milk
    Syns: packet mix (syns 2)
    Probably mini strawberry split (1.5)
Maybe will also have a Pink 'n' White (2.5)
    Total - 6

    Wed: Green
    B: Yoghurt and fruit
    L: Cheese on Toast (2 x HEB)
D: Veggie chilli & rice (thought I'd got out a curry but it's actually a mild chilli - have got to stretch it a bit as my sister has just let me know she's coming to see me so will be adding some butter beans and some more chilli)

    HEA - milk in tea
    HEB - cheese; wholemeal toast
    Syns - Snack-a-Jacks - 5

Hopefully won't be too much damage come Thursday am!

    Hi all,

WI yesterday after a really good week including lots of cycling and some walking and gained 0.5lb. Would accept it as one of those things (did have quite a big lunch so could have still been weight of that) but gained for no reason last week as well. Am getting a bit fed up with not really getting anywhere despite doing everything to plan and exercising, although saying that, whatever the scales say I am gradually getting smaller. Anyway I've decided to have a bit of a change to shake things up - still going to SW but stepping away from the plan a bit just to see if a change makes a difference.

Lol, I like 'dropping the lard to get to the next yard', much better than anything I would have come up with! I'm in the 14-13 zone, having started in the 20-19 ( can barely believe I'm typing that!) and aiming for 12-11, ASAP!

Have a good day folks :)
    2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]
2012: [STRIKE]Start renovating new house (aka open enormous can of worms)[/STRIKE] _pale_
    2013: [STRIKE]Lose weight[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]get fit[/STRIKE] and FINISH THE HOUSE!

    Weight loss - Apr '12 -Sept '13: 95lb

Blodwen - I found I was yo-yo'ing a bit recently so decided to try alternating red and green days. It certainly seemed to help prior to going on holiday to start the losses again. Am also doing that this week as you can see from my plan above, having just come back from holiday. Hoping for at least some damage limitation!

Interested to know what changes you're thinking of. Many of us need a bit of a 'shake up' now and again.:)

I can't afford to join, but have the books etc from joining in the past ( I don't think too much has changed? I can't get my head around the EE plan but have a couple of slimming world mags here donated by a friend with a couple of 1 week plans in, and I have found another on the SW site, so that should start me off?)

Hello, SW do lots of free recipes on the website too regardless if you are a member or not :) I think EE is just a mixture of red and green with meat, poulty, rice, pasta and potatoes being free with 1 calcium option and 1 fibre option ... Could you try ebay for the books as they are always some on there :)

Just got really annoyed at some helpful work colleagues - I said at the beginning of the year please don't let me raid the bicci tin as we have always had a daily supply and a daily bicci isn't good! However it has been empty for weeks and someone has brought some treats in - so I synned them up to have with my cuppa and was told I shouldn't be eating them when I said i'd synned it up they still said I wasn't allowed treats ... I honestly felt like a naughty school girl :( They always offer me chocolates when I go in their office so why when I take the good approach am I suddenly wrong for having a treat :(

It really annoys me that people seem to think when you have a treat it isn't allowed or because I am overweight I mustn't eat this or that regardless of what plan I am following there is too many do gooders wanting to tell me I am doing it wrong ... Not pleased!

Lesson learned - I just won't speak about healthy eating to anyone since I need to live on rabbit food and fish to lose weight :p

Hope everyone else is having a good day ... I think I will have a sneaky weigh in to see how I am getting on ... Doing really well this week so would like it to show - fingers crossed!!
