    Ok well here goes...

    Breakfast
Porridge made with semi-skimmed milk, sweetener and cinnamon.
    Apple

    Lunch
    Scrambled Eggs with bacon
2 Ryvita with 1 laughing cow cheese triangle, sliceed chicken and cucumber
    Fruit

    Dinner
Veg soup with Schwartz seasoning, chicken and Prawns
    Potato wedges hm
Fruit salad (melon, apple, pear, pomegranet

    Snacks
Fruit, carrots sliced chicken, Muller lights
Syns from hot choc in the evening, cheese triangle, Ryvita and some saved for weekends (ou know you aren't supposed to but it's worked until now lol)

Other days lunch will be hm savoury rice with veg prawns and chicken or pork or salad with new potatoes and boiled eggs.
Dinners vary, we have soup at least once a week, chilli with brown rice, Bolognese (from scratch), chicken with sw chips.

If we have a meal with no super free we'll have fruit salad for pudding.

I think maybe portion sizes (at least the rice/pasta/potato part) may need cutting back a bit but I'm at a loss as to how to help him.:'(

WoW!! Just had pizza topped chicken from a SW magazine (also on the website) with SW chips & salad - it was amazing! Hubby loved it too, so I think that'll be a regular meal from now on :D

Jules - how about trying success express? It's smiliar to EE except you have 2/3rds superfree foods rather than 1/3rd - supposed to speed up weight loss & might focus his mind for a week or two too?

Hi Skint_Catt as we're doing it from home with no input from a consultant I don't know how success express works. Is it just upping the superfree to 2/3 or is there anything else we need to do?

Thanks so much for your help x

    Ok - just reading the book;
Each mealtime fill 2/3rds of your plate with Superfree foods & one third with free food. Between meals & for starters & desserts enjoy superfree foods - fresh or frozen fruit & veg plus eggs, fat free dairy products & veg proteins (quorn) (or count the syns if your snack/dessert isn't a superfree food.
    Choose 1 or 2 Healthy Extra a's & 2 HEb's
5-15 syns BUT COUNT THE HIGHER SYN VALUE WHERE THEY DIFFER (opposite of EE)

    Hope this helps

So rather than the usual 1 hex a and 1 hex b you can have 2 of each? Just checking lol. How long is it recommended you do it for? It it a kind of kick start thing? We only had an old starter book to go from and I've lost it now since we'd got the hang of it! Will have to try and dig it out over the weekend as I seem to remember something being in there?
    Thanks so much x

Yes, it's 2 of each hex's as per the old red & green plans. I think it's certainly a booster as you're filling up on the 'right' things I suppose! :D

    Another question please? :D

Due to regular overeating, over a long period of time, my blood sugar levels are all over the shop. If I don't eat something at certain points, I get really dizzy, lightheaded and feel as if I'm about to faint. Doc said it will settle as soon as I get my bloods under control but for now it's a problem tbh.

I had to take daughter into town after school yesterday and whilst we were walking round the shopping centre, I started to feel awful and kinda spaced out. I knew I couldn't drive home like that so I got a sandwich and bottle of juice from Boots. (I know I should have got water but I needed the sugar in the fizzy juice :o). It helped within minutes and I felt fine again and drove home ok.

Anyway, am I suppose to curb the following days syns to a lower amount to try to balance out the extra syns eaten with the sandwich and juice?

    I don't want to. :rotfl:

I have no clue how many syns I should allow for that and being a big gal, I'm struggling already because my food intake is a LOT less than I normally have so if I have to also cut my syns for a few days, I'm just going to cry. I will. :D

Can I just ignore it as a blip? (Can you all sense my need for a sympathetic shoulder pat? :rotfl:)

OK seriously, if I need to acknowledge it, how many syns should I allow for a tuna sandwich and a bottle of apple tango? *insert a haven't got a clue smilie*.

Clearly I need to get organised so this type of situation is catered for, I'll need to make up bottles of diluting juice or something and make sure there's always fruit on the go to take with me. It really is about re-organising your thinking, isn't it? :undecided

Hi all back on here for support it really really me helps reading your posts. I was really hungry last night hadn't anything in I could have to snack on except mullerlights and laughing cow so that's what I did.
Still wasn't good eating 6mullers and a whole pack of cheeses... WHY DID I DO THAT??? Felt really out of control. Thank goodness I got shopping in now.
I kept looking in the fridge expecting nice food/comfort to be in there.
Think I'm like most of us we don't reall plan for times when not even hungry just looking for comfort.
Well done to the posters that have started this week. And to the poster that wasn't well in town (sorry i find it difficult to look back on this phone to remember names.) I identify with that think we need to plan for those times and not set out without something to eat.
I am making a vat of veg soup today as my windy miller syndrome has settled down I must be getting used to all the veg now.
I will have that before my meals then that takes care of the 2/3rd SS
as I don't always want veg or fruit with my meals. So had soup n sandwich for lunch.
