    But I wanted 15. :rotfl:

(I guess that kind of thinking is what got me fat in the first place. :D)

Hi ali, I have 15 syns most days, never less than 10. Those thin Cadbury's bars are 5.5 syns. I expect your not surprised that I know that ;) I lose at least 1.5-2lbs each week.

Herman - MP for all! :)
  • Lost 1.5 this week. Back to where I was 3 weeks ago. Hope this is start of a positive run. 3 st 1/2 a lb gone since October! Measured for a bra today and am 6 " smaller round the bust! Cup size the same. Couldn't believe it. All the bras I'd picked were too big. Chuffed and spurred on.
    2014 reach my best.

I'd like to lose another stone but it should probably be a good couple of stones TBH, although I don't think I'll ever get down that far.

Oh yes you can!! It's all too easy to let extra syns creep in. I started to go down that road: a small juice with breakfast, some spread on my toast, an extra slice of bread, a 'tiny' bar of chocolate of an evening. All things on top of my syns. I'm not pretending it's easy but my answer was to plan my week, shop to match it and then start writing down everything. It really helps me to focus. It's hard but sooo worth it when it shows up on the scales.

Maybe take a walk around a nice clothes shop and look at the lovely summer clothes that's in. Hopefully that will help to get your A into G again.

Don't bother buying them as it's too damn cold but if you do they'll definitely fit next year!!:D

missI, I admire your resolve in hanging on in there. When you move/leave at least you'll know you've done it on spite of your consultant.

Our consultant was talking about some scheme for diamond target members, apparently that's what I am as I've been at target for over a year.:j It's one of these 'could win a holiday, enter a national competition' things. Sadly(;)) I had to decline as I won't be at group for a couple of weeks. Anyway, I explained to her that I don't think national SW would be interested to hear how I got to target and maintained by saving my syns and drinking them at weekends!:rotfl:

It's going to be a tricky few days for me. As we go away next Thursday and I'm out for two meals before that I don't want to do a big shop. I want to eat up all fresh stuff so will have to plan carefully so that I'm extra good on the meals I have at home.

The clothes do look nice tho its just nobody is buying them.

travelinglightoh hope my girls get a bit smaller too. I know we shouldn't complain as long as they are healthy but nowt fits right.

mamanwell done on keeping to target for a year.
I don't drink now but if I still did I would be doing that.
SW HQ couldn't deny that worked for you tho.
At least you counted them. The girls at work on SW don't bother counting alcohol, they lose count!
Well been awake since 3am I'm at work today so gonna be shattered.

    Morning all,

Oh Pennylane, I am sorry you're still struggling :( The only thing I can suggest is trying a calorie counter like myfitnesspal if you haven't done that already. I know SW isn't really about calories but MedMum and a few other people on here who struggle to lose have found it a bit of an eye opener- things like fruit can really add up. Might be worth giving it a go just to see what comes up.

Well done TBear and TL on your losses :j TL- I should probably get measured, although don't really want to know as they have definitely gone down about 2 cup sizes and are fast approaching resembling spaniel's ears :rotfl:

    Green again today:
    B: Berries, yogurt, weetabix (B), syrup (3), milk (A)
L: Jacket spud and beans, salad
T: Pasta, roast veg, red pesto (2.5), cheese (A)
    S: 2 x plums, Rocky (5.5)

Have a good day all :)

I love ham done in the SC and then the bonus of fab soup made from the stock!:)

I've been lucky on the bra front. At my largest I was 38D but went down to a 34D so delighted not to lose in the cup size. One of the greatest boosts (:owrong word, sorry) was getting measured for decent bras that fit. It helps the look of clothes no end.
