I cut mine then microwave them on a plate for @3 mins, shake up then another blast until going soft then onto a tray (only use it for sw chips) sprayed with frylight then spray the chips and sprinkle on seasoning.. garlic salt, paprika, nandos peri peri chip sprinkle for instance.. then into very hot oven, give them a shake up so they don't stick, cook until browned... lush!

I just par-boil them until just soft (but not so much that they break up), drain, shake up then let cool & dry out before putting into a hot oven covered in frylight. The oven in this house (electric fan) is sooo much better than the carpy gas oven we had in our last house - I've waited over an hour & a half for them to cook in the old house - 20 mins & we're done here :D

Got the stuffing from you tube she used lugging cow mixed with dried chives but advise you could use quark for free food version. Gotta say it was lush. I'm stuffed now. Love SW you get loads to eat.

Hadn't realised there was SW stuff on you tube. Thanks for the tip. I watched what looked like a yummy, simple chicken curry recipe I might try.

Back from my hols in Turkey, ate far too much, esp bread!!.. felt awfully bloated towards the end of the fortnight.. weighed myself at Boots when I got back and had a 5 1/2 lb gain from my last SW weigh in... Have managed to pull a bit of that back but official WI is tomorrow so will see what the scales say there and start afresh.. was 1.5lb off 3 stone! :)

Welcome back mich. Hope you had a great time despite the weight gain.;) I'm off to Turkey next week. I plan to enjoy myself and worry about getting back to target when I return.

Morning everyone can't believe how well I'm sleeping.
Straight through again last night. It's gotta be something to do with SW I never sleep well at all.
Yes there is some great SW you tube videos. The cooking ones are good but the ones with the successful members talking about how their lives have changed are fab. They are mostly from the magazines but hearing them talk about it has helped me. Great for peeps who are doing this at home I think it's like them having a chat to you personally. Like a bit of image therapy at home when you need it.
Have a good day. Dodge those marauding syns the best way you can.

Tarra for now and be careful out there x

Morning all, do you mind if I just nip in here to ask a question please? :)

I've measured out my 250mls of semi skimmed milk and my pathetic looking 35g of porridge :D but I don't know what to count the small cut up apple, teaspoon of sunflower seeds and teaspoon of chopped walnuts that I add to it as. How many syns would that be do you think?

Even a rough guestimate would do, I haven't got a clue.

    TIA. :)

Hi the apple would be free
And according to the EE pAge 72 walnuts are 8.5 @25g
and sunflowers seeds 7.5 @25g there's 5g in a teaspoon so you would have to divide the amounts by 5 sorry my maths ain't good. Not near a calculator. They are a HEB as well but I personally wouldn't waste my syns or HEB on them. It's such a small amount you could just not count them its up to you of course.

Hi just found a calculator they are about 1.5 syns each for the nuts and seeds. Some one might have a more accurate count
