feeling a bit fed up today, been working long hours until late so iv not had a proper meal since Wednesday. been living off pot shots for dinner and ainsley harriot cous cous for tea (2 syns). went shopping last night with OH and got lots of meat, veg etc so we had stuff in to cook with and now hes said he won't be in for tea tonight so I don't want to bother cooking just for me. it seems a waste.
Well done!:T
How much do you want to lose?
I feel negative about a good loss nxt week, am not very active, and it always takes me ages to lose even half stone!! Prev by cutting down on my own .0 -

I'm sure you are missi. That's brilliant.:T
:wave:I'm back from a short break. WI isn't until Thursday so I've got time to claw back all the unwise choices I made. Fortunately, hotel breakfasts were OK, plenty of SW choices. Jeans are telling me I've not put on too much so here's hoping.aggypanthus wrote: »Thanks for all the support everyone.
I didnt have the crisps afterall, had baked beans and 2 fried eggs. Just had a nibble on 1 small warburtons seeded bread . Dinner to come will be pasta with homemade tomato veg sauce with chunks of fresh salmon tossed thru, a wee bit cheese grated on top.
My worry is that the diet is making me eat more proper food than I am
used to. All my extra weight comes from chocolate and puddings and more chocolate, I dont actually eat a lot at meals.!!
Hello aggy (and other newbies:)). I know this isn't your complete day's plan but it looks a bit short on superfrees. If you're doing Extra Easy then you really must have at least a third of your food SF (fruit & veg). All that counts as SF is the tomato sauce and that's not enough. You could have it as a Green day but then you'd have to syn the salmon. Hope you don't mind me commenting but I'd hate you to be disappointed and it sounds as if you're introduction was a bit of a disaster. Not everyone chooses to have a target, you can set/reset it any time you want. Some go for interim targets others just have that one figure in mind. Some people prefer not to have a target but just aim for a dress size.
Thanks for sharing the scan nessie.0 -
Hello Maman, I did have fresh fruit that day, thanks for the advice , I will be needing a lot. Yes, the intro was lacking a bit, and I am waiting for a PIN to log in!0

What sweeteners do you all use? do they all taste the same? I tried candarel sprinkled on strawbs and rasps, and didnt like the taste or the aftertaste.
Weirdly now, it has also put me off the taste of diet coke, as its similar, and suddenly my tastebuds are rejecting coke! I cant have that, as I usually love it.0 -
I was feeling rather down hearted until I read everyone's posts.
What an inspirational bunch of "will get theres" you are.
Thank you. I really needed to see that right now.0 -

Don't use as much of it - thats why you can taste it. I hate sweetners, the only one I can put up with is Splenda and I always use at least half the recommended amount when baking/adding.0 -

I only ever use sweetener if I am making rice pud as it is fairly horrid without it & I just go for whatever is cheapest :rotfl:when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.
When life gives you melons, stick them in your top & say you've had a boob job0 -

I think you've down flipping well with your weight lossIt's seeing other people's losses that helps me to know that it can be done

ETA Thanks dointhemonkee.
It can be done. It's not hard, not really. Not if you look at your loss aims from week to week, rather than looking at the whole figure.
I remember being a very disillusioned "Why am I paying good money to someone to tell me what I know already" nay sayer when I joined.
I know even better now - I'd love to go back to group and engage in the moral support and 'shiny' collecting. That's what worked for me.
If every time you step on the scales you are still lower than you were when you started, you're getting somewhere. That doesn't have to be a loss every week though.
1 pound a week was 52lbs - thats 4 stone in a year. So lose 3lb one week and gain 1 the next you're still heading in the right direction if you lose 1.5 the following.
LOL :eek:I just realised how much I lost because of typing that. :eek:0
