    Hello folks, I joined for the first time ever last night.
    Today I feel a bit let down, the lady gave us 4 starters a good first chat, but disnt mention or ask about setting a target weight. Also she had computer probs, so didnt give me a log in PIN, saying I will get it next week. I need that extra info to get underway so I am a bit annoyed.
    I want to know about free branded foods, ie, rice etc etc , quick fix till the proper cooking starts at night. I cant find this anywhere online today.
    Should I call her to ask for the PIN today? she also didnt give me her number!

    I just want to eat crisps today!!

    If you put your postcode in on the SW website you should get a list of local classes with contact numbers.You could then give her a call.

    Hi and welcome aggypanthus.

    I haven't posted this week as my SW diet went right off the rails. I was at DD's every day so had gluten free sandwiches for lunch.

    Back home today so I can keep better track of my eating.

    B: porridge (HEB) milk (HEA)
    L: Boiled eggs, banana
    D: Fish pie (SWstyle) broccoli and cauli

    I have, somehow, managed to lose 1lb this week :D

    :) I've figured out that I don't need to do the WI bit on wii fit EVERY time I use it, so really happy about that - as I can't be doing with being told that I've managed to put on half a stone in a day!!

    menu:
    B - sleep :)
    l - jacket pot, beans & salad
    t - am planning HUGE mixed salad with prawns & salmon noodles with ff creme fraiche & ff 1000island dressing. jelly with mixed berries & ff yog
    s - 2 x frozen (ww) yogs. hot choc (2).
    2 x alpen light bars (HEB).

    *1hr on Wii* :)

    don't have crisps. Quick & easy snacks - 2 weetabix with ff nat yog (HEB) & the rest is free. Carrots - quite filling, taste sweet & free :)
    If you have time make the sw chips/wedges as they are yummy - par boil your tatties, then stick them in oven after you have covered them in that 1 cal spray oil stuff, stick some herbs & spices on them too. turn them over mid way so they get nice and golden all over. Spray a bit more 1 cal on them when turn over. They are really yummy & even my hubby likes them :)

    what else is FREE & quick? umm .... can of sweetcorn? an apple?

    Not quick but FREE or Low syn - freeze a fatfree yogurt. When frozen get out of freezer & let defrost for a few mins then eat .... you can almost pretend it is like ice-cream :rotfl: (I have a good imagination - but I like them :D)

    If you REALLY, really, really want to have crisps. Have them & syn them but go for baked & stick to 1 pkt :)

    Thanks for all the support everyone.
    I didnt have the crisps afterall, had baked beans and 2 fried eggs. Just had a nibble on 1 small warburtons seeded bread . Dinner to come will be pasta with homemade tomato veg sauce with chunks of fresh salmon tossed thru, a wee bit cheese grated on top.
    My worry is that the diet is making me eat more proper food than I am
    used to. All my extra weight comes from chocolate and puddings and more chocolate, I dont actually eat a lot at meals.!!

    The diet def makes me more aware of the choices I make. Hopefully the proper food will fill you up & you won't need the choc so much. But if you do need some, you can always syn it - curlywurlys & 2 finger kitkats are about 6 syns each I think :)

    lost 3lb at my first weigh in which I'm quite happy with :) feeling a bit fed up today, been working long hours until late so iv not had a proper meal since Wednesday. been living off pot shots for dinner and ainsley harriot cous cous for tea (2 syns). went shopping last night with OH and got lots of meat, veg etc so we had stuff in to cook with and now hes said he won't be in for tea tonight so I don't want to bother cooking just for me. it seems a waste.

    my bad time is when I cant sleep lateat night, last night I went for 2 biscuits and the last few squares of choc in the house.

    I normally have green and blacks, 2 tsp with milk but only a small teacup size, any idea of syns?
