hiya, could I join in?
started SW last Thursday, it's going okay so far, just struggling for things to eat for lunch as I often have to eat on the go, i.e. in my car!
anyway just wondered if there were any fat free yogurts you can have without lumps in? I was pretty chuffed when I found out muller light yogurts are free but hate the texture with the bits of fruit in :-/0 -
I'm finding it really interesting reading about the whole fruit debate - have some comments but i will keep them to myself :-/

My 20 week scan today - will get to see the little (or not so little) bean that is throwing my eating out of sync!
Not weighing in tonight as scan is at 6.40pm & not sure when i will get to group in time to weigh - but will probably go show off the pic!

Thanks for your input  However I find it very difficult talking to you about things like this
My 2nd Tadpole is called Rob (great name:D) and all I really want to say to you is "get off that SW website, go and do your homework, and can you bring me your washing please"
thought its very nice of you to offer

I have vanilla ones as they don't have lumps, I don't like mullets so have activia. I like onken too but not sure that's still free.
Welcome in by the way :AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

On the fruit debate I do eat a lot of fruit as I don't find it hindering my weight loss at the moment... I was just trying to help others with it.
Have managed to stay on plan for 4 days so far... The first time in a while I've managed to do that! Lets hope I can keep it up!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Hello everyone again - I didn't just pop in and ask to join in a few days ago and then disappear....ooops I did
Love reading this thread but just don't get much chance to post.
Have managed to (nearly) stay on plan since I joined online last Thursday, but am finding it harder than I did before. But am guessing that is due to the 4 week old baby who is still getting up for night feeds 3 times a night, so surviving on about 4 hours sleep....... My mum thinks I am mad to be trying to lose weight so early - I waited till 3 months after all the other 3 and did find it easier, but I so need to have lost some before I go on holiday at the end of July or I won't be putting a swimming cossie on  Certainly not fair on the others at the holiday park :rotfl:
My other 3 slept like angels from day one - so guess I was due a little monkey this time
Am just finding it hard to find the time to prepare SW food as I am also veggie and eat different to the rest of the household anyway. Still waiting for my SW pack to arrive in the post, so hopefully I will get a few more ideas when I get chance to read through them.
nessie216 - hope the scan went well
Keep up the good work everyone else!!!0 -
Question - where are you getting your syn values from?
Pasta n Sauce, Macaroni Cheese, excluding milk & butter, 108g packet is 1½
Are you using milk as syns? If so - why? you don't list any hea in your daily plan & where is your heb?
Where are you getting 10 syns for chicken? did you fry it in nearly 2 tbsp oil?
You say you had gone over syns - i can't see it myself!
I was over estimating because I had been at work and was frankly too lazy to look it up when I came in at nearly 1am lol
I don't drink milk - except in the form of options hot choc. I don't really like it tbh. I have loads of yogurt so I know I'm not going to be lacking in calcium etc. I tend to do HEA with cheese triangle things as can't be trusted near real cheese not to eat the entire block in one go
I have a problem with craving bread, cereals, biscuits etc so am trying to stay away from it hence why I don't often have HEB
I didn't cook the chicken myself it was pre-cooked sainsburys thing covered in a chilli & lime marinade, which is why I syned it. But again I guessed as had no way of looking it up while at work.
I guess I would rather over syn something than under.when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.

oh I synned the macroni thing because, although I made without milk or butter, I put too much water in it & used a tbs of instant cheese sauce stuff to thicken it. Which didn't work so much but heyho :rotfl:when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.

I'm usually quite good and syn free during the week, and rarely if ever go over 6syns a day so I figured I had some saved up to be a little bit extravagant...my weekend looked like this
Saturday
B - Muller and raspberries
L - Half a bag of chippy chips at the seaside
D - Double cheeseburger from mcDonalds!!(think it might be pushing it to try and count the cheese as HeA!!:rotfl:)
Mini Bottle of rose at the theatre, lots of diet pepsi for the rest of the day
Sunday
B - Yeo valley fat free yohurt with pineapple and strawberries
Poached egg, half grilled tomato, grilled flat mushroom
L - well not strictly lunch, but a donut and a half (sugarless....as if that makes any difference at this point!) at the pleasurebeach AND a yoomoo fat free natural yoghurt with raspberries (which I thought was being good instead of ice cream...i figured it would be free as its fat free yoghurt but apparently is not!!)
D - Risotto made with red pepper, green pepper, onion and mushrooms with 30g pecorino (heA)
more diet pepsi throughout the day
Basically....My weigh in isn't until wednesday, do you think there's any chance of pulling it back to see a loss this week?! Am worried that I'll lose motivation if i've gained or sts and seek solace in a bar of galaxy or twelve!! haha.
xx
