    afternoon All,
Been away from the thread for a few days. Not had WI this week, been on a course for 2 days - sat down all day and gorgeous food !!! ;)didn't get to gym this week either. Plus parents about to move into sheltered accomodation, which is good - but "someone" has to downsize their 3 bedroom house into a 1 bedroom flat.
Feel a bit off this weekend, really tired, sickly, no energy and CBA - "Cant be ars*d"
Will try and get back on track this week, and get ot gym. Just been for a very short 3 mile walk and am absolutely knackered.
    Moan over
Hope everyone has a good week.:j

I now limited myself to 2 pieces of fruit per day.
I have a banana every morning & 50g of berries after dinner.

There are 71 calories in a nectarine. If you eat 6 that's 426 calories.

Yep I'm trying to limit to two pieces a day too which isn't so difficult for me as I'm not a big fruit eater but once I get started on grapes, cherries and watermelon I forget to stop!

  • Well back home after a great couple of days away.

We've been the same three couples who've hung out for years but last year one of the couples moved away and now lives a couple of hours away in the north of the country. Us and the other couple decided we'd go up there as we hadn't all been together since they moved.

We went up on Thursday evening after work, had a picnic on the way and then a stop off at the local pub before reaching their house (they met us for the picnic). That part of the evening was fine - proper picnic supper and limited myself to one drink in the pub.

Friday morning breakfast was good and then we hit the artist quarter of the local village and wandered around for hours. I was drinking loads of water and had my fruit and fitness bar to snack on. After that we went on a great hike through the hills for an hour and I felt so pleased with myself - so I went home and totally fressed out at dinner time - lots of food and lots of wine!!!!!

Saturday was more of the same - lots of food and lots of wine - totally lost it. Did go out for a long walk in the afternoon but other than that moved my butt from bed to table back to bed back to table!!!!

Today I woke up loaded with the cold and have completely strayed the whole day - whatever I could find that I didn't have to cook or prepare.

Now drinking a hot drink with honey and off to bed - hopefully tomorrow will be better :(

Our consultant set us a challenge this week to try and have different HEBs every day.

I'm doing OK so far (although I have had bread twice because we were away over the weekend so limited food with us).

    Friday: Bread
    Sat: Bread
    Sun: Ryvita
    Mon: Olive Oil

Haven't decided what I'll be having the rest of the week yet but will have another look through what I can have in the book later to try and sort it out. Am having a Green day on Thursday (I usually do EE) so need to find 2 HEBs as I'll be eating vegetarian meals so won't be using meat as one of them, LOL!

Have planned today and will be having:

    B - Bacon, egg & beans. Banana
L - Stuffed mushroom, stuffed with spicy couscous with chopped up stalks. Will also have some salad (1.5 syns)
D - Roast chicken, roast potatoes (using HEB olive oil), 2 or 3 veg, gravy (1 syn) I only have a dribble of gravy as not keen on it but need something so it's not too dry.

Will probably have a lolly this evening to use a few more syns.

Milk in tea will be HEA.

    Denise
