Hello all,
Just had a quick read through of the weekend posts- well done to the loser and hugs to the strugglers. Had a good weekend generally as well as SW- and MSE-wise. Sounds a bit sad but thought it would drag and be a bit lonely as OH is away - even though I lived on my own for a few years and generally enjoyed my own company I am so used to being with him all the time now - but actually it was great, got twice as much done in half the time and the time flew!Blitzed our bedroom, which took all Friday evening and Saturday afternoon - he'll kill me for tackling his side but he never does it and it was filthy and a complete mess, much worse than I thought- we will be having strong words when he's home! Anyway, organised and spotless now, although my back hates me! Had a wander down to the local parade of shops on Saturday morning to get a few bits from Home Bargains and ended up going in loads of shops I've never been in. A couple of them were clothes shops that have ends of lines from other shops and I got 3 tops (2 New Look and an Asda), 2 shirts (1 Matalan), a handbag and 6 pairs of socks for £21! :money: Tops were 14s with one 12, and all fit :j Also went in a pound shop and got some good DIY bits and pieces, plus looked in some of the frozen food shops for frozen berries and it has really opened my eyes to how much cheaper some things are. We often shop in Aldi in the week and occasionally Farmfoods for Quorn stuff, but have to admit it's laziness which makes us get 90% of stuff in Asda. I enjoyed my little jaunt around the shops as well as the walk there and back so am going to do it more often (although I already have more than enough clothes - oh well, most are too big so no harm in a bit of browsing
)
SW-wise have been 100% and do feel thinner so we'll see what tonight's WI brings. Made the hairy bikers lamb, spinach and potato curry last night minus the lamb as having a couple of friends round for tea tomorrow night and one is vegan. Had it for tea last night and got a bit for lunch today - it is lovely with the lamb but the spinach gives it a nice flavour and a bit of texture, so I think it stands up well on its own.
Green today:
B: All bran (B), milk (A), banana
L: Spinach and potato curry, rice, apple
T: Spaghetti hoops on toast (B), cheese (A)
S: Syns for chocolate and butter
Forgot to say I got a 200g bar of the popping candy dairy milk in Home Bargain on Sat - didn't even know they did big ones! Had a strip last night which was weighed and synned, and will be having a bit more tonight. Love the stuff!

Haha, thanks! I think there were 2 things at play here:
1) I was wearing some new clothes and they were very fitted, so kept me mindful of staying on plan
2) (the main one) I knew I would be 'allowed' to eat the rest after WI tonight! :rotfl:2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Think I'm all set to start tomorrow, just need to make a big pot of tomato & pepper pasta sauce to use for lunches.
I go on holiday 7 weeks today and my (probably unrealistic!) goal is to lose a stone but would be happy with at least half a stone off. Problem is I don't have a massive amount to lose so might be difficult lol.
Will give it my best, one day at a time. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
So a new week and I am glad!
Went off the rails on friday night at the Mexican - had 3 wraps, salmon fajitas, sour cream, cheese, salsa etc. Also had cocktails and then 8 mini bottles of wine over the course of the night!!!
Weigh in tonight and not looking forward to it at all.
Still after tonights birthday meal will be getting back on track tomorrow :T
Will be chicken salads for the rest of this week. Only have two Mullers left now after the time I went crazy buying ten so after that will be looking for a low sugar yogurt option. :A
Well done to all the losersFingers crossed I can be a sts samer tonight !

t - jacket pot, (batchelors pasta & sauce thing) macorini (6), salad.
melon, plums & ww yog
s - 2 hot chocs (4) several apples thru the day
probably way over on syns today but I tend to be low on syns most other days so I'm putting it down to flexible syns & try to be better next week
exercise
walk/limp of 2 & 1/4 hrs (not all in one go, but all today)
Bit miffed that I got on the scales for first time in 10 days & they told me that I am 19st 12.5lbs .... so yay 1/2lb off .... oh well ....
Question - where are you getting your syn values from?
Pasta n Sauce, Macaroni Cheese, excluding milk & butter, 108g packet is 1½
Are you using milk as syns? If so - why? you don't list any hea in your daily plan & where is your heb?
Where are you getting 10 syns for chicken? did you fry it in nearly 2 tbsp oil?
You say you had gone over syns - i can't see it myself!0 -
I'm finding it really interesting reading about the whole fruit debate - have some comments but i will keep them to myself :-/
My 20 week scan today - will get to see the little (or not so little) bean that is throwing my eating out of sync!
Not weighing in tonight as scan is at 6.40pm & not sure when i will get to group in time to weigh - but will probably go show off the pic!0 -

You put me to shame!!! Went to blackpool this weekend with the bf to watch a show, and I did not resist any temptation!! I'm usually quite good and syn free during the week, and rarely if ever go over 6syns a day so I figured I had some saved up to be a little bit extravagant...my weekend looked like this
Saturday
B - Muller and raspberries
L - Half a bag of chippy chips at the seaside
D - Double cheeseburger from mcDonalds!!(think it might be pushing it to try and count the cheese as HeA!!:rotfl:)
Mini Bottle of rose at the theatre, lots of diet pepsi for the rest of the day
Sunday
B - Yeo valley fat free yohurt with pineapple and strawberries
Poached egg, half grilled tomato, grilled flat mushroom
L - well not strictly lunch, but a donut and a half (sugarless....as if that makes any difference at this point!) at the pleasurebeach AND a yoomoo fat free natural yoghurt with raspberries (which I thought was being good instead of ice cream...i figured it would be free as its fat free yoghurt but apparently is not!!)
D - Risotto made with red pepper, green pepper, onion and mushrooms with 30g pecorino (heA)
more diet pepsi throughout the day
Basically....My weigh in isn't until wednesday, do you think there's any chance of pulling it back to see a loss this week?! Am worried that I'll lose motivation if i've gained or sts and seek solace in a bar of galaxy or twelve!! haha.

Even though you had those things you'll probably be fine as it was only half a bag of chips and a double cheeseburger and if you look at it in terms of calories its not that much really - I think we all deserve a little treat at some stage through the week so just count it as that. :T0
