I most probably don't have it & probably losing my Excess 7-10 stones (yes really) will sort a lot of it out. It was just that I looked at the symptoms list (bit of an error)
What are fibromyalgia symptoms?
Fibromyalgia causes you to ache all over. You may have symptoms of crippling fatigue -- even on arising. Specific trigger points or tender points on the body may be painful to touch. You may experience swelling, disturbances in deep-level or restful sleep, and mood disturbances or depression.
Your muscles may feel like they have been overworked or pulled. They'll feel that way even without exercise or another cause. Sometimes, your muscles twitch, burn, or have deep stabbing pain.
Some patients with FMS have pain and achiness around the joints in the neck, shoulder, back, and hips. This makes it difficult for them to sleep or exercise. Other fibromyalgia symptoms include:
Abdominal pain
Anxiety and depression
Chronic headaches
Difficulty maintaining sleep or light sleep
Dryness in mouth, nose, and eyes
Fatigue upon arising
Hypersensitivity to cold and/or heat
Inability to concentrate (called "fibro fog")
Incontinence
Irritable bowel syndrome
Numbness or tingling in the fingers and feet
Painful menstrual cramps did have BEFORE I started taking the pill
Poor circulation in hands and feet (called Raynaud's phenomenon)
Restless legs syndrome
Stiffness
But, as with most things, I'm sure the symptoms I do have can be put down to something else
I could tick quite a few off that list too :eek:I know exactly how you feel Maman - I have been hovering between 8st 4lb (bottom of my target) and 8st 7lb (target) for several months but have recently started to creep up by a couple of pounds although I am still in my target range. I have been making a concerted effort over the last week or so, before it gets out of hand, but cannot seem to shift those pesky few pounds
Like Medmum, Macpep & Lantanna I have been using Myfitnesspal to track what I have been consuming in the way of calories and do seem to be over by about 100-150 per day (they recommend 1460 for my height/lifestyle etc.) even though I am eating exactly the same foods as I always have on SW. Sometimes the weight just doesn't seem to want to budge
I didn't use the Myfitnesspal when I was losing weight and I am sure I must have been consuming the same amount of calories then, if not more, than I am now.
If someone had told me a year ago I would be weighing in at around the 8st 7lb mark I would have been extremely pleased but now I feel almost disappointed that I can't stay at the bottom end of my target range - weird or what
I am totally with you on this, I was really pleased when I got to target but I kept losing and got to -6lb below and to be honest I liked the feeling. Now the weight keeps creeping up and even though I'm still below target I liked the feeling so much I want to be there again. Where as I should just be happy I'm at target shouldn't I?
Also scales say one thing but clothes say another, had to put another hole in my belt today as it was so loose. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Ok stress hell today, woke at 3am [loo] couldnt get back to sleep. Hubby was restless too. When alarm went off he tells me hes had chest pains since 4am. He did the NHS direct thing online which screamed DIAL 999 in big red letters. Himself decides to drive over to A&E, son drives me over then walked back to get our car. Spent 4.5 hours wired to machines only to be told all is ok. Now will have to have ECG on for 24/48 hours to try and capture another episode [been having them for few days but not said] but of course will have to wait for a referral first . I went back to work for afternoon but am so tired I have no idea what I did
.
Must, MUST get a good night tonight as off on another trip out tomorrow, hope weather is warmer than today though as been freezing all afternoon.

Personally it has never been an issue but did take the advice on board and swap to Hovis seed sensations which is heb so i can have a variation through the week with my HEB's.
Thank you. That is a really good explanation. How many slices can I have for my heb?0 -

I have only eaten bread once in the last four weeks and feel better for it too. I hadn't realised the link between bread and bloating before.
It's because the flour is so modified now, pumped full of air, gluten, preservatives, stabilisers etc and of course the yeast doesn't help either.0 -
still no car ... & no end to this in sight
Didn't go for a walk today but did wii instead, first the sports then the fit bit. Bit irked that it didn't record all of my efforts in the piggy bank thing (tho it was my fault cos I accidently sent it back to main menu rather than pausing the routine while I tweaked it). It only recorded 15mins! when I did 3 loads of boxing, 2 jogging, 1 biking, 2 step & some flipping yoga ... tho I admit the yoga really doesn't count because I can't do it & need to find some way of omitting it from the routine.
Hubby shouted downstairs at one point cos he wondered who I was talking to ... or in this case; talking, berating & generally swearing at. Thank god he didn't feel the need to come downstairs & watch my pitiful attempts at 'lunge, palm tree, balance bridge, the triangle & I forget the other horror'.
Anyway what with the unlogged stuff inc the wii sports stuff (tho I have to admit wii fit is much much more interesting & I'll be sticking to that), MINUS the yoga I was craptastic at, I am saying I did 20mins exercise.
Menu:
b - yogurt
L - fish & veggie thing from last night, fruit salad & yog
T - fish & veggies & noodles (broc, carrots, peas, cauli), fruit salad & yog
S - 2 x hot choc (4)
Am meeting my mum for lunch in town tmrw. If weather is nice will walk down & stop off at Tesco on way home to buy more salad & fruit. Also plan to have a jacket pot (no butter) & baked beans for lunch, which will help me stay on track
Random question - I've seen on other threads people talking about doing a weekly food shop for £25 per person or less. Is it possible to do that & stay on EE? lean meat seems really expensive as does fruit & veg at the mo, but I'd love to save a few pennies and pounds if I can.when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.
