Well done MM and all losers this week.
I have a 1lb loss, which is good, because I struggle to stick to EE. I have been to gym twice and had a good walk when it was sunny ( remember that day):p
Everyone have a good weekend. Hopefully I will manage to do proper meal plans for next week.
In response to other posts I agree about the £25 shop, but only once you have stocked up on fish, meat, store cupboard essentials and then you are only replensishing odd items each week. Went to Mr S to replenish - just wish Aldi and Lidl had a bigger range.Jane 21120 -

I know what you mean, but I by all my basics there (mainly Aldi because it's nearer home). If you've got a Farmfoods nearby it's worth it for an occasional stock up on frozen veg and bags of smoked haddock.
Reading about the balance between calories/SW made good sense. We need some fibre and calcium (especially so for women prone to osteoporosis). I don't have a problem with the calcium and keep telling people at group it doesn't have to be hugely linked with fat (FF yogurt/sardines in brine). My mam suffered with IBS and associated problems so I'm determined to guard against that. I think the baked beans, wholemeal bread and occasional others (butter beans/red beans/porage) plus various veg probably cope with that. So much to think about, but it's worth it!!0 -
Some amazing loses since the last time I was on here, well done everybody. I am old school SW and although I know people who have lost lots with EE for me Original days with fewer carbs works for me. Lost another pound this week but am going to change groups next week, all consultant kept saying was that he didn't expect anybody to lose weight this week because it was a bank holiday weekend, hot and people would be in the pub or at a barbecue! No mention of what they could have done to stay on track or opportunities for people to offer their suggestions!

Hi it's been about 2 weeks since I last posted but in between illness and missing one week of my club due to daughter been home with flu I have been all over the place. Well done on everyone's losses, your all done brilliantly.
I have lost another 5 pound since last posting so now into the next stone down and trying to get my head around the fact I don't look like my old self anymore. I went shopping this week to buy myself a dress as going to see a show with my friend next month in Cardiff I went to look at clothes in a size 20 then it dawned on me that I am now a 14 to 16. My head just can't get used to it. Everywhere I go people are commenting. Hard to accept praise when you have been putting yourself down for years but I am getting there. Anyway bought a lovely dress which looks fab, can't wait to go out and enjoy myself.
Talking about which plan to follow me personally I think extra easy is the best plan ever, I have tries red but was hungry on it and green don't suit me as a over load of carbs means my losses slow. On the extra easy plan I see losses in between 2 and 3 a week. I know once I get nearer to target it will slow down but it suits me better plus I save my syns for the weekend so don't miss out on a sneaky drink or two and some chocolate. Next month is going to be hard on he willpower with a night out with my friend and hubby's works do week after. So need to get another 1/2 stone off in four weeks to take me to my four stone loss.
Good luck everybody and remember no one said losing weight is easy but I promise you that it's worth it x'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0 -
Big thank you for all your concern re hubby. Now waiting on referral to hospital.
Feeling very rough myself today, headache and general lousiness, knock on from all the stress I expect.
WI and honestly thought would be a gain due to bread eaten [dont normally touch it] and stressy stuff. Also went bowling last night which included a meal [scampi & chips] although I did eat all my salad garnish plus my Mums as she cant eat it then had slice of pizza when I got home . So when alls said and done, lost .8lb so nearly a whole lb :rotfl:. Must do better next week to stop the gain catching me up.
Hope everyones having a good weekend and the rains not dampening everyones spirits [suns just come out here].
Keep the Faith all :A:A:A:A
P.S missing our Dizzy & Banjo anyone seen them? Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
