I am not getting involved in the debate as to how SW works, I think if you look into it too much, you end up tying yourself in knots, I just know that when I follow it, I lose, thats all I need to know
. My poor DD has chicken pox, praying we don't get it, none of us have ever had it & at my age I have heard it can be painful.
Absolutely right macpep1 - if it ain't broke don't fix it - I really wish I could say the same. Keep up the great work - you're doing well.
Wishing your little girl better quickly and hope you all don't catch anything.Mediterranean Mum

I had no idea about this til I read your post and googled it. Tbh even though I am generally quite partial to junk I have only had KFC once and it was horrible so no temptation here, the greasy smell from just walking past them makes me heave!2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Thanks for the links you posted Prudent - when stress was mentioned I was expecting cortisol to come up, so will try and have a look later. Might also ask OH to see if he has any opinion on it.
Total is crazily expensive but Asda do their own fat free greek yog for £1 for 500g. Don't know if any of the other supermarkets do a fat free one as my mum has looked in Tesco and Morrisons, and I've looked in Sains and haven't seen anything. I'm also addicted to frozen berries and yogurt - got some (well I say some- was the last 4 punnets!) from Aldi on Saturday, which I think you told us about Maman, so thanks for the tip - save £2 on the same amount from Asda:money:
I would be interested to find out more about cortisol too. I have tried the Asda and Tesco fat free greek yoghurts and they were both great for a £1. I have quite a tight food budget, but always have had a few luxuries which for me has traditionally been really good quality Earl grey tea and an occaisional glass of port. I have given up the port so I will substitute with the occaisional pot of Total. Farmfoods do a 500g bag of mixed berries for £1 if you are unable to get to Aldi at all. I also love their huge bag of rhubarb for a £1.
Lantanna fantastic loss - well done :T0 -
Today i took my daughter with me shopping. She knew we were having steak for tea as she helped write up the meal plan being the fussiest of the fussy. So we went to the butchers to look at the meat. We have two butchers in the town centre, the first one she looked at the meat declaring it rank for all those around to hear. The second one she was almost drooling  over the cuts of steak in the window so i were sent in to purchase said steak.
Two offers on - Sirloin steak (£22 per kg) 3 slices for £10 or Rump steak extra lean £11 per kg. Bought the rump and had 3 slices to share between 4 of us. Weighed each slice at home and it was just under 11ozs each. Total cost was £9.83. I thought DD was going to pass out when i told her till a quick reminder of how expensive pub grub is. Not long ago the whole lot was devoured and for the first time in ages she actually asked if there was anything else left :T I know to some this amount would seem extravagant but for a once in a while treat it was great especially when compared to the inferior supermarket meats.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Evening all, BIG well done to all the losers and sincere hugs to all in need.
Am going through a very stressful time at the moment;
Work - we move to a brand new school in less than 3 weeks and are having to fit in so much between now and the move. Today I went to Strumpshaw Fen with one of our 2 Reception classes followed by a visit to said new school. Had further to walk home so very tired now. I get to do it all again on Friday with the other Reception class :-/
Son - he is doing a so called apprenticeship (slave labour) he hasn't been paid for 3 weeks (this is the 2nd time its happened) and is supposed to be paid weekly. Hasn't had a contract and been there 3 months. Also never had a pay slip since he's been there. As for the company providing the qualification, hasn't seen or heard from them since they placed him. Am ready to go throttle someone now.
Hubby- just love him but stress is getting to all of us at the moment :-(
Anyhoo, have STS last couple of weeks but expecting a gain this week due to the extra bread for packup for trips out.
Sorry for the essay
Keep the faith all :AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Blimey TIE, you really need to TIE with all that you've got going on! We move to a new school too soon, I'm very excited :jas I like the smell of new carpets
I think I have come to a decision regarding the excessive fruit consumtion. I'm cutting back. As of tomorrow.
I am a little bit worried as I'm already in the binge/starve frame of mind about it. I decided on the way home from work to gat a huge bunch of grapes, and pineapple as one last hurrah before sticking to an apple and a banana a day. So I've eaten them, and just then I nearly, very nearly...
... ate a tea cake and butter, which would have meant another, and then the last two, and then I'd have gone for the swiss roll in the cake tin that needs eating up, then a scone or two, some toast, some bread while I'm waiting for the toast to cook, two pieces of toast that are warm, then two that are cold, the last malteesers, minstrals and revels in the drawer, possibly a cream crunch biscuit. I may well stop at this point, feel sick, feel guilty, and then have some more as I've blown it now so what's the point.
Having said all that, I haven't yet had the teacake, so it may not happen, but this is how I feel when I know I'm cutting backbut I know I do have to cut back on the fruit as my trousers are really tight and I'm doing nothing else wrong
So, as of tomorrow, I'll stick to the plan, and cut out too much fruit, and I'll stick to it for as long as The Apprentice series is on, which coincidently is 12 weeks, which takes me right up to when we break up for the Summer Hoildays
and if my trousers are still tight then, well, then they'll be trouble
Would you like to join in on the experiment MedMum and Lantanna as you're having the same probs as me?Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Aww beanielou - big hugs, post binge is such a horrible feeling.
TIE much sympathy for the school move. I moved with a school in 2008, it was awful. The build was running really late and the tradesmen were still working. We had no classroom furniture for two weeks. Live electric cables were left lying on the floor and the paint was still wet. I teach children with very complex learning difficulties who touch and even eat everything. The management wanted us to pretend all was wonderful to the endless trail of visitors. The stress continued in various forms the whole time I worked there. Thankfully now I am in a much nicer job. Last term though it was declared we are to move to a new school ..... plans are still at an early stage or I would be joining beanielou with the oreos.0
