Strangely Beanie, my mind was thinking that I could have cut the bill down even further by buying all the basics in Aldi and getting fresh f &v in there while I was at it!

I thought you might be interested in the Body Magic bit as it proves that weightloss can be achieved without exercise if necessary. I must admit I did very little when I was getting to target but in my case it's down to laziness!:o

Just prepped a load of veg for supper and deliberately did extra for my lunch tomorrow. I'll put a bowlful aside and do a nice bubble & squeak. All week I've gone back to having that or stir fry at lunchtime. It all helps keep the SFs up. Generally I'd also have soup but freezer's full at the moment so not really worth making any. PLUS it's not soup weather!!!!

    Today's meals for me:
    B: beans on toast (HEB)
L: bowl of stir fry veg (carrot, cabbage, beansprouts, mushrooms, peppers) with soy and 5 spice
D: sausage and mash with carrots, cabbage, peas and onions
Syns: gravy and small juice with breakfast

I'm also having wine syns tonight. I don't usually have any on a Thursday but DD got good (job) news today and I've been worrying about her so it's a little celebration.

My downfall is buying prepared fruit which of course is expensive.
I do try not to buy it but sometimes it is just so much easier

    Day 3 going well:j

Interesting indeed on the excercise debate.

Good news maman on job news for your DD :j

    Happy Thursday all.

Was it a HM burger, melanie? Just checking as I don't know any others that are free. And what are those M&S things? I'm not being fussy, just wouldn't want you to be disappointed if syns are creeping in without you realising it.

    Hi maman

Yes the burger was HM, we bought a burger press at the weekend so that I could make them myself :)

The M & S things were Vietnamese marinated pork (not veggie!) salad bites with mooli ribbons and I knew they were low syn, double checked and they are actually 2 syns per pack not 3 as I thought.

Thanks for looking over my food diary, it's always good to get a second opinion.

In bad twist today as I'm feeling so bloated and the pmt continues :(

I feel like I'm back to were I was when I started 9lbs ago. If I've put on again this Monday I'll cry:(

So today's plan of attack is

    B: Banana & Mandarins

L: Celery Soup & Chicken Pieces with Cherry Tomates

D: Celery Soup, Cabbage, Brussels, Bacon, Mushrooms & Onions sauteed in 25 Philadephia Extra Light (HE)

Lots of water and green tea.

I woke up twice last night to go to the toliet - if only I could get rid of this bloating..............

    Hi Lantanna

Just a thought, could the cabbage and brussels be contributing to your bloating? They always make me bloat out, much as I love them.

WI last night, number 3 and lost another pound - that's 5 llbs in 3 weeks. Slightly disappointed because have stuck to it 100% and have given alchohol up but it's all heading in the right direction and already my clothes are feeling looser.

WI for me today and really fed up - down 200g which is less than 1/2lb and right royally sick of it. I've ton a huge amount of exercise this week and although the food hasn't been perfect, it hasn't been terrible either.

I've been playing around with 1 or 2 pounds for the last 4 months and just can't get the scales to move for me.

OK moan over time to move on...I'm planning for today and tomorrow and going to hit the kitchen soon.

today's plan (and would appreciate it if anyone has any thoughts and/or comments) -

b/fast - 1 slice toast, 1 fried egg, chopped salad (1 each tomato, cucumber, red pepper)
    snack - banana
lunch - tuna salad - leaves, tomato, cucumber, spring onions, red pepper, cabbage, tinned light sweetcorn, tuna, dressing (1 tblspn light mayo, mustard, red wine vinegar, seasoning, sweetener)
snack - 1 slice toast, baked beans, 45g grated mozzarella, chopped tomato & red onion
dinner - Minestrone soup (without pasta), stir-fried chicken livers, stir-fried cabbage, chopped salad

    tomorrow -

b/fast - lots of chopped salad, HB egg, 1 tblspn light mayo
snack - mixed frozen berries, 0% diet vanilla pudding
lunch - 1 slice toast, 1 tblspn humous, Turkish salad; cold meat & salad
    snack - orange
dinner - 1 slice toast, 1 tblspn humous, salad with pickled herrings & HB egg, 1 tblspn light mayo

plenty of syns in all of that and not planning on adding others
aim is to drink 2 litres of water each day
