A lot of us in my group seem to be really struggling big time.
    Ho hum.

So sorry to hear that beanie. I think lots of people have been thoroughly depressed both by the winter and then the miserable, cold spring. There's no incentive to wear lighter clothes or eat salads and things which usually makes us think about losing weight.

I find the best thing is just not to buy things like crisps. If they're not in the house I can't eat them. And stock up instead on things to snack on like pineapples and raspberries and chicken tikka bits.

When you get back tonight/first thing tomorrow make a plan for the week. I find it really helps to write things down.

Had chicken curry for supper. DH loved it, I could have done with it a bit sweeter. I'm counting the fact that it was made with onions, tomatoes and threw in a few mushrooms as my SFs. Other than the rice, there was only stock and the spices.

Sorry to hear this Beanielou. If it's any consolation, I'm just the same.:( I have not lost any weight for months and am finding it very disheartening. If I did crazy stuff like pigging out or binging I could understand it but I very seldom have anything not SW and I do plenty of exercise. I started off so well on EE but have ground to a halt and can't get motivated to try Red/Green or Success Express etc. I just can't.:(

I have lost inches because I got into some smaller navy trousers this weekend and they were perfect. Also some very expensive trousers I bought 2 summers ago are now unwearable because they hang right off me. I will have to Ebay them. I am down a good dress size and feel better but I still need to lose more weight.

For some bizarre reason the strawberry Bacardi breezer is 10 and a half! It doesn't give pineapple in the food diary.

    hi all.. just catching up!

I've started taking days one at a time.. one good day done.. two done etc... finding its working for me rather than looking at the full week ahead till next WI

I had 5 weeks of 1/2 off on off.. STS's etc.. very disheartening.. then last week, bingo!.. 4 1/2 off which has really given me a boost.. i'm fine at home, no crap in to eat but its hard at work.. i'm there 24hrs (support worker) and there's usually biccies, crisps, bread galore.. once my jobs done and the chaps I support are in bed I find myself constantly opening the fridge, cupboards.. the difference this last 2 weeks is I've closed them straight afterwards! :)

Going away at the end of May and tried all my holiday clothes on.. all too big!! loads of stuff in my wardrobe I was 'going to slim in to' now hang off me... not complaining like, they can all go for the SW / cancer research clothes throw!

Good to hear from you Rob, well done.. Hope Banjo is ok too!

Good luck for this weeks WI's all x

Someone else commented that they discovered after weeks and weeks of drinking it that one of the Volvic drinks had 7.5 syns in it and couldn't understand at the time why she hadn't been losing any weight.

Noooo  In 2009 I was lucky enough to win a fabulous 2 week holiday to France from Volvic. They put me up in a wonderful spa hotel, paid, for flights, car hire, insurance and gave me £1000 spends. I have been very brand loyal to them ever since. It gave the best holiday I have ever had as I bought my daughter up on my own and money has been tight. She was 17 at the time and absolutely loved it too. I will need to find a 'good' volvic choice ;)

Huge hugs to everyone who is struggling/ on a roller coaster with their diet. Hoping for a better week for you all :).

I struggled a bit around dinner time, but other than a biggish portion of shephers's pie just managed to hang in there.

    Today I have had:

    B. porridge and berries with total yoghurt

    s. pineapple

    l. prawn salad (was really hungry from 3pm onwards so will add a banana tomorrow)

    d. shepherd's pie and mixed vegetable and a turksih delight muller light.

Mich I can so relate to this. My current battle with weight started when I worked in a residential school and there was a lot of access to unlimited snacky things :o

I went from a very active job to this and put on 4 stone or more in the meantime!.. the long evening is when boredom sets in and that triggers the kitchen cruising.. easy to distract yourself when at home but not so when at work.. just have to be more organised and take in my own meals and 'nibbles' :p

my turn for doing the weekly shop this week.. work with guys so am slowly converting them all to leaner / healthier options ;)

you've done so well beanielou, think we all have those moments.. those days will soon turn into good ones!
