I'm having a fave SW lunch today.
Pasta with tuna, chopped red onions, parsley, hardboiled eggs and sweetcorn and black pepper.
I can't believe how quickly the week whizzes round. Every week I leave SW thinking I will have a great SW week and lose a couple of pounds and before I know it, it's Wed. again.:(
The only "wrong" thing I've had all week though is a smallish piece of quiche yesterday. Was out at a Craft Fair and it was that or nothing - with salad. So long since I've had pastry that I spent all afternoon burping.:rotfl:0 -

I have one loss then I think I can go back to my old ways. It's quite unreal.
Emma37, it's taken me a few days but I've given myself a talking to, got out there walking and drinking my water - now hoping I can keep on track with the food but just taking one day at a time.
We're all here for you honey and we all understand exactly how you feel and what you're going through.
Thanks Med Mum. I've been trying to lose weight for years and always self-sabotage. It doesn't make sense, because when you've tried so hard and started to lose, you know you're undoing all the effort. Don't understand it really, but I'm going to give it another go.0 -

mmmmmm....I love the veggie pakora, not sure on the free chicken tikka pieces, I made mine myself last time, marinated them & cooked them on skewers, you have made my mouth water now :drool:
Great glad to hear they are tasty!! Tonight will be my first go at making them! Can't wait
Just want to get the weigh in over now so I can get home make the pakora and relax lol0 -

Me too Emma37- the worst is when people start noticing that I've lost weight and say "wow you've lost weight" and that's like a trigger to eat whatever the hell I want.
I've overcome it slightly this time although since people started noticing I haven't lost anymore weight - the big difference this time is that I haven't put it all back on - that's major for me! Hoping I'll start losing again soon as I've been maintaining for about 4 months - fine if I didn't still have 5 stone to lose!Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
Apparently some of the ready made chilled Chicken Tikka pieces are free. Does anyone know if they are? If so which ones? Can only see the M&S ones on the website which are 2.5 syns! Obviously I want to get some free ones. Going to make up some veggie pakoras tonight for muching on!
This doesn't help with your Indian snacks but someone in my class said the frozen Thai chicken pieces from Aldi are free, so maybe they have tikka ones too? After being really good last week and losing 5 1/2lbs, this week I just haven't been able to stick to the plan and have been eating all the wrong things. Now I don't feel like going to the meeting on Wednesday, as I've probably put it nearly all back on.Oh well, I'll try and make a fresh start from today.
Go. I know how tempting it is to say "I'll have a fresh start and lose it before I get weighed again" but it rarely works in practice. Stay on track for the next 3 days and the damage will probably be nowhere near as bad as you think, and if you have a gain at least you've faced it and can put it behind you. Good luck2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Emma - Great advice there. Best to face the music and just forget and carry on! I feel like I could be up a 1lb tonight too. But listen I'm a firm believer in slow and steady wins the race. Some weeks may be tough due to fluctuations for different reasons but keep going! Even though my class bores the life clean out of me going round everybody I do think its good that they read out everyones total losses before going into whats happened that week - as it is easy to see everyone can have a bad week!
I've no Aldiso its either Tesco or Asda for me. Will investigate tonight and see what I come up with!

Prudent Thank you. I haven't had time to try the custard recipe yet as we had so much chicken and vegetables etc we didn't need pudding.
Blodwen, we have an 4ldi just 25 miles from here and plan to go on Wednesday so frozen Thai chicken pieces are now added to my shopping list. I could really do with a SW 4ldi shopping list to make sure I buy all the right things.
I ended up eating four chocolates last night. It feels as though I am self sabotaging.
Today
B: HEB Ready Brek with water, not really recommended but it was all I could find in DDs cupboards
L: 2 slices GF bread and 40g cheddar cheese and a stick of celeryChicken breast and vegetables stir fried with boiled rice
Because I am at DD's house babysitting for two days I should have thought ahead what I wouold be eating and brought some of my own. I can't find any fruit other than fruit already chopped up in little pots for baby.
My plan is for DH to bring me some fruit and yoghurts over for tomorrow.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I just did a quick google for SW and Aldi but most of the stuff it brought up was out of date. I mostly get fruit and veg from Aldi, as well as some bits like porridge oats and bran flakes but a friend at class (the one who mentioned the chicken) gets most stuff from there including the Benefit bars (2 for a HEB), hot chocolate sachets and apparently they have just started doing sugar free jelly sachets too. I like the Spiral bars as a sweet treat; they're like Kinder Buenos and come in choc hazelnut (like nutella) or just hazelnut for 6 syns each.
If anyone has a Lidl nearby I'd recommend their passata and tinned chopped tomatoes. I normally buy Asda Smartprice but the carton of passata is bigger than Asda and is lovely and thick, and the tomatoes don't have too much juice either. I also like the Dulano (I think) cooked chicken slices, the thin round ones, to snack on.
I was still peckish after lunch and fancied something sweet but don't have anything here so decided I'd have some sugar in my coffee as I have the syns. I used to have it and have previously moved onto sweetener when on diets, but just went cold turkey this time so haven't had anything sweet in coffee for a year. I thought it'd be a nice sweet treat but it tasted so odd, almost artificial, and I couldn't finish it, actually feel a bit sick now! I still have a sweet tooth (can't go past a packet of jelly sweets without looking wistfully at it) but maybe my tastes are changing, very odd!2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Tesco

Tesco Tikka mini breast fillets are half a syn each
I'm pleased with myself today. I got back really late for lunch but did not succumb to Greggs or worse when I was out. I made my bubble & squeak as promised and even had pickled onions with it (tempted by sweet pickle but put it back in the cupboard).
I haven't got the sausages out of the freezer yet so thinking maybe I could be very mse and use up yesterday's LO chicken. I might just do SW chips with it and a few veggies or perhaps curry if I can find a quick, easy recipe.0
