Morning all,
Well done Lantanna, DD and HP, fab losses from you all!
I'm afraid history repeated itself with me and even though I expected a gain I didn't expect it to be 5.5lb :( My consultant had a look and noticed it's 4 weeks after the last big gain, and the week after * week each time. She thinks there's a pattern, I'm not so sure- well maybe a pattern as to why I was craving chocolate but not sure about the gain, mind you I can't think of any other way to explain it. I'm know it will be off with more in the next week or two but it's annoying as I feel like it's wasting time I haven't got!
Anyway, on the upside I'm really looking forward to cycling to work and getting a bit fitter. Depending on when I start cycling, I may need to delay starting 30 day shred Macpep is I've heard a lot of people can barely walk for a few days afterwards so if that was the case cycling to work would be out! Will see how it goes though!
EE for me today:
B: Pineapple, berries, FF yog, 1 weetabix (half, golden syrup (3), milk (A)
L: Quorn stir fry and egg fried rice, apple, pineapple
T: Thai red chicken curry (4) and rice
S: Alpen light (half

Hi,
Yes I think so. Most days I do have 2 slices of Nimble and Cheese in some form as my Healthy Extras. I am having syns too - normally around 5 a day. Last night I had a Happy Hippo (Kinder) 6 syns. I try to keep it around 5 a day so I can enjoy a drink or two at the weekend.
I will probably have cheese with my evening meal or as a snack tonight. It looks a bit minimal today but it is because I was a bit unprepared for coming back to work today. Normally the mugshot would be a massive salad.
BTW that cowboy hotpot is a days eating in it itself lol. It has steak mince, celery, chickpeas, baked beans, potatoes, carrots, brocoli and onion in it! lol
I know there is a fine line between eating enough and not eating enough and I am slowly retraining myself to eat more. This is one of the things I've struggled with in the past - starve myself all day and then eat copious amounts of the carbs at night! Thanks for the support !;)

Don't know what happened to the end of that post - meant to say fine line between eating enough and not eating enough!0

Amusing little poem sent by my consultant:
This is the story of Wanda Loseweight....
Please pay attention, it could be anyones fate.
She’d booked a holiday for the end of July,
2 stone off was her aim - seemed easy as pie.
... ... ... Easter had gone but with kids still on scene,
She put it off til next week “when Im back in routine”
The following week, torrential rain fell quite bad
“Go out in this weather?? Id have to be mad!”
Another week later she was invited for drinks
“I’ll join in May, plenty of time” she thinks
But she's busy all month with no time to care
About that one hour a week, which is all she needs spare
June arrives but Wanda does not get upset
“Still 6 weeks to go, why worry and fret?
If I'm really good, I’ll lose 3 lbs a week
Its not quite what I wanted but I’ll still look quite sleek!”
But June comes and goes and Wanda didn’t commit
Her new shorts are too tight and her dresses don’t fit
She’s sat on the beach with her friend thin Lizzie
Who feels sad for her pal when she gets in a tizzy
“Oh why” Wanda wails “didn’t I take your advice?
And join with you back in April - you’re looking so nice!
You’ve lost 3 stone at a nice steady pace
And you’ve got nothing but size 12’s packed in your case!”
But Wanda Loseweight was not long feeling blue
With a new goal in mind, she knew what to do
“Lizzie” she said “I’ve got it all planned
I'm joining a group, the minute we land!”
True to her word, Wanda did what she said
And got to her Target, by Christmas instead
And one year later, once more with her mate
They were BOTH in bikinis and content with their weight.0 -
