Only way would be a 7 day working week & I am not for that :rotfl:I totally agree though MedMum, through the week I have a routine, ie when to eat brekkie/lunch/dinner etc the weekend I can eat when I like & tend to wait until I am at passing out stage before eating (due to doing housework or whatever, don't want to stop to eat):TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Just catching up after a weekend away. Went flexi and feel a bit bloated so need to get back on the wagon. Unfortunately both today and tomorrow I have/had lunch out. Plus I've little time to shop this week so SFs are a bit low.
I've had a SW breakfast, sandwich lunch:( and have sausage and mash planned for supper. I've got some carrots and onions so that'll have to be enough SFs until I can get some shopping done.Mediterranean_Mum wrote: »Maybe because we all have to be very structured during the week - school, work, whatever, whereas at the weekend we just kind of let everything go!!!

I took what they call the scenic route to target. I know I could have done it faster but I had lots of flexi meals on holidays. I knew that if I started to obsess about the 'diet' I'd give up so I motivated myself by having weekends and holidays to look forward to. I found that if I ate fairly syn free during the week (stir fry, bolognaise, chilli, sausages) then I could really enjoy weekends. I found that by making some pub/restaurant type meals at the weekend that helped too. At the most basic that would be something like: fish/gammon/steak with chips, peas, mushrooms and tomatoes on Friday, SW curry on Saturday and a roast on Sunday. All that I've listed probably only has a couple of syns for some gravy. So imagine the wine syns:eek:0 -
Maman I totally agree with you. The scenic route as such wud be the only way I wudnt go mad. Id 4lb off tonight. So thats 11 lb in two weeks which is amazing. Id gin three nights this week so was very pleased. The thing is I dont feel it yet as a lot of the time I still feel bloated!!!0

Well done Lantanna - great result.
Totally agree Maman - I'm definitely going the scenic route but my philosophy is that whilst I'm checking in here or attending my support group at least I'm consciously thinking about what I'm putting in my mouth.
I've stayed more or less the same for the last 3-4 months and believe me I still have stones and stones to lose but I feel that if I hadn't been doing what I'm doing then I would definitely have put what I have lost back on plus more!Mediterranean Mum

Well done both of you - that's a great result. :T
The only thing I would say (and not to dampen your spirits) is that you probably won't be able to eat and drink the way you've done this week in future weeks and lose that amount. First week is always a good loss especially if you've not dieted for a while.
I really don't want to take away from your great victory but just want to make sure you're aware.Mediterranean Mum

I've had a couple of dodgy days mainly due to the fact that I've been running around unexpectedly during the day and not had time to get stuff ready to take with me. Sometimes I think it would be easier to have a stable office job and then I'd know where I was every day!
b/fast 2 slices toast, SP humous, Turkish, mixed veg salad (HEB)
snack banana
lunch Minestrone soup, courgette & onion bake (HEA)
snack orange
dinner carrot & onion soup; veg spaghetti bolognese
only 2 syns in the plan and hopefully I can stick at that as I need to catch up a bitMediterranean Mum
