  • Actually Bendick's mints aren't so small - you get more for your syns than you do in an After Eight!!! Only problem is one isn't enough (or 2!!!)

Thanks Beanielou - sent you a pm.

Oh dear, I so sympathise. I love baking and couldn't resist digging in too. After all you can't expect your guests to eat something you wouldn't eat yourself ;).

Oh dear, seems like it was the weekend for it. I'm fully expecting a gain tonight :( Meals have been fine but as I said on Friday, I've been battling the munchies in the evenings and gave in on Friday, which led to more sweet stuff than I should have had over the weekend. Didn't go too mad but feel really bloated and I know I'll have gained. Am sick of bouncing up and down all the time, need some consistent losses! Hope you ladies are back on track and feeling better :)

MM, that's a really good idea about desserts - I'm going to try and have a week or two off chocolate, as sometimes one bit of it sends me off the rails for more! Other ways to spend syns and other ways to assuage the sweet craving are necessary. Also need to do some exercise- have ordered a set of Jillian Michaels DVDs including 30 Day Shred, so will start those as soon as they arrive.

Have a good day all :)

    Weight loss - Apr '12 -Sept '13: 95lb
  • So far I have lost 1st 8lbs with slimming world, it has taken about 3 months tho as I tend to have weekends off :j
I would still like to lose 3 more stone!!

My favourite slimming world recipe is:

Chicken stuffed with a mix of quark, garlic, peppadews and lemon zest and then wrapped in bacon, served with roasted cherry toms, sweetcorn and SW chips.

    It is lush.

    Good luck everyone!!
  • Hi Kelly - well done on that fantastic loss, really impressive.

Yesterday was a great day for me SW wise in the end. I had an awful lot of SF stuff and kept my syns down.
Best of all I have planned out the next few days meals so I am determined to stay 100% on plan.
    Today looks like this:
B: fruti salad and VLF jogurt
L: Lentil dahl (1 syn), green veg (broccoli, sugar snap peas and runner beans), 0.5 tbsp mango chutney (1 syn), cherry tomatoes. Slcie bread.
D: Chicken stirfry (carrots, broccoli, courgette, peas, baby corn peppers) 1 syn for oil.
    HEA half milk, half cheese
HEB 2 slice WM bread from 400g loaf
remaining syns, galss of wine or a couple of mini eggs.
I saw a 777 thread on minimins so am trying to do that: 7 speed foods, 7 syns, 7 days.
    Seriously money saving
