I love that site - in fact I think that's where I got the sweet potato humous that I make all the time and lots of other things I make - great site for those that are getting bored making the same things!Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
Thanks Med Mum, that's part of the plan for the week ahead.. Menu planner filled in and will try a few days of success express see if that gives me a kick start..
Just in the dentist now waiting for treatment... Eek!0 -
I am really struggling to get back on track.
Eating fairly healthily but the problem is the wee snacks
Today I have had three biccies and a large handful of chocolate chips
Bah is all.Aww beanielou I do feel for you. Wee snacks are usually my downfall too.
I feel for you both - I've been battling the munchie monster a bit this week tooThink it's with doing SE so am having mainly veggies which don't keep me full as long. Managed to keep it at bay so far with fruit, yogurt and coffee but the temptation is there... come on, we can all do this!
Hi all..
Quick pop in, was WI tonight.. STS, that's just 1lb lost in 5 weeks.. meh!
That is frustratingGlad you're going to go back to basics as agree with MedMum that we all need to check everything now and again. A few days of SE should help too.
Well done on your WI MedMum and on your fab total so far, you're doing really well!
Green for me today:
B: Berries, yogurt, oats (B), sugar (2), milk (A)

MICH-CITY menu looks fine, is the low fat Greek yoghurt fat free? It's the little things that mount up. If you tend to have the same food try changing things about a bit. You will do it and the support on here is great, just ask whatever you want and someone will be along with the answer.
MED MUM well done, you are SO organised, have a great night with your friends.
Have a great, on plan day everyone xx0 -

Thanks Blodwen but when I look at your total loss I feel depressed because we started about the same time and because of all my messing about up and down over the last six months I'm not as far ahead as I should be.
Yes I hear you - I'm back on track and yes I'm losing - 25lb is still 25lb and better than an extra 25lb on, but....Mediterranean Mum

No buts, you're absolutely right that you're 25lb or even 50lb less than you could have been - it's an achievement whichever way you look at it and however long it takes, you're on the right road so try not to get disheartened.
p.s. I hope that doesn't sound patronising- easy for me to say etc. but I know what you mean- there are people in my class who have lost quicker than me, especially as I've messed about a bit too and only just got below what I was before Christmas, and it is frustrating but I try and do what you've done and think where I'd be if I hadn't lost what I have, however much or little that may be. We should all be proud of ourselves for what we've achieved2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Nice loss Med Mum and Blodwen you are right, we need to look at the progress we have made.
I'm cross with myself because I just made a pig of myself over my holidays and piled weight back on so easily. Now I have to work to get it off but at least I managed to say stop and get it under control again.
So today looks like this:
B: mixed fruit, coffee
L: smoked trout, salad, small amount if pasta scrounged off daughter's plate, small kitkat type thing (80 cals so 4 syns)oriental chicken salad. (2 syns for the sweet chilli sauce), VLF yogurt with berries.
HEA milk in tea and coffee
HEB, not sure yet.
I woukd usually have bread as a HEB and I don't like ryvita. Any other ideas on how to use up a HEB?Seriously money saving0 -
It's actually quite scary how easy it is to put it on (certainly compared to how difficult it is to lose)!!Mediterranean Mum
