  • I also went over syns yesterday but as I've been pretty light on syns the whole week I'm not too bothered.

I'm worried about today though as I have one of those days that I'm going to be running around from one meeting to the next and not sure exactly when or where I'll get a break.

I'm having breakfast now and will take a banana with me for a snack. Hoping to get back to the house for lunch but unfortunately it's not going to be the lunch I planned for today so having to think again. I did make some courgette and onion soup last night so at least that's quick to heat up and drink while I'm putting together a salad or something.

b/fast 2 slices toast, humous, salad (HEB, 4)
    snack banana
lunch courgette & onion soup, salad, 1 tblsp light mayo (2)
    snack orange
dinner soup; macaroni cheese, salad (HEA)

Morning, I have now done two full weeks on EE and I have to say that I wish I had tried it ages ago when I was struggling. Pity my consultant didn't push it more. I have lost 4.1/2lb in total, 2 first week and 2.1/2 last night. For anyone stuck on red/green plans and struggling, please give it a try.

Well done to all the losers and hugs for anyone having a tough time. x

Well done, that's fab. I like to do a combination of them all but mainly do EE. Am surprised the consultant didn't push it as usually they only talk about that and don't mention red and green. Maybe she is an old-school consultant from the red and green-only days?!

SE for me again today, and pretty much the same as yesterday:

B:Mixed berries, FF yogurt, weetabix (half B), syrup (2), milk (A)
L: Courgette and rocket soup, 30g goats cheese (A), 3 crackerbread (half B), slice of pork loin, apple
    T: Bean chilli & rice
    S: Yogurt, Freddo (5)

Have a good Friday eve folks :)

:wave:confused, great news that you've managed to kickstart your loss. I agree that EE is brilliant but I think any change of plan can have that shake-up effect when needed.

    Did I miss something?;)

I've a good day planned: porage for breakfast, LO chicken casserole for lunch and SW bolognaise for supper. There's a fair few SFs there but I might defrost a bowl of berries just in case. I'm away for the weekend and it will be fairly flexi as staying with family.

    morning All

Sorry Ive been AWOL for a little while, Ive had a flare up of my Lupus & really fatigued :o sleeping the clock round most of the time & parts of my body that I didnt even know I had ache!!

Specialist has increased my meds so hopefully I will start feeling chipper & be back reading/posting like a goodun again :p

trying to stay on plan but prepping meals is just soooooo tiring I'm snacking on fruit and eating salady cold stuff mostly at the moment as I cant be faffed xx
  • I've had a very busy morning today!

B:coffee and croissant (yes, I know, I was in a meeting)
L: smoked trout, cucumber, onion and tomato salad, 2 slices HM bread (HEB), strawberries
    D: chicken stirfry
HEA milk in tea and coffee
Syns: croissant - I'm guessing 6?, 1 for stirfry, small glass of wine.
    Snacks: fruit, VLF yogurt.

Cam I double check - is trout a free food? It's an oily fish so not sure as you have to syn smoked mackerel.
    Seriously money saving
