  • The trick to keeping the weight of is to be consistent. Making it a life choice and eating a balanced diet regardless. Too much of anything is not good for you so eat everything in moderation. Easier said than done though lol

    Morning,

Well done Lantanna, fab loss! Also well done to you Dundee Doll for taking the plunge. Have a fab time MedMum and good luck for tomorrow Swiperno :)

1 off for me last night, which is fine as it's * week. Bit disorganised today as the house is still upside down, but going to write a menu plan today and hope to make some soup tonight.

    Green day today:
    B: Porridge (B), milk (A), 2 tsp cocoa powder (1), banana
L: Thai Mugshot (0.5), carrot sticks, apple, Alpen light ( half B)
T: Soya mince spag bol, cheese (A)
    S: Maybe a HiFi light (half B), Spiral (6)

Just realised it's my 1 year anniversary at fat club! Can barely remember being over 5st heavier, but am sure as hell glad I'm not there now! If any new folks have any doubts that it works, let me tell you that if you stick to it you WILL lose weight :D

    Have a good day all!

    :bdaycake:Happy Fatclub Anniversary!

    Amazing loss lantanna.:T

I don't think it's essential as in EE but certainly recommended.

I use frylight for my stir-fry. I tend to marinate the meat in soy, ginger, garlic and a bit of 5-spice plus a tiny bit of stock if light on liquid. I fry the meat then add the veg and use the marinade for a sauce. Totally syn fee. I use the sunflower frylight, really don't like the frylight stir fry oil, spices aren't to my liking.

I really don't like fry light to be honest, I'd rather use a bit of olive or rape seed oil - I think that's OK so long as I syn it isn't it?

I'm having a glass of wine tonight, 100mls dry white. Which is 5 syns I think. I swapped dinners and had Salmon as it was on offer with boiled potatoes and veg. Yum!

  • Thanks everyone - just got back from a lovely day although the weather wasn't great.

BBQed outside but we all sat inside but really nice. I ate mainly salad and chicken sausages (not sure how many syns) and the only other thing I had that should be synned was 2 marshmallows!! Drank tons of water and didn't touch any beer or wine!!!!

Just had my cup of soup that was waiting for me when I got home and now off to make myself a small veg omelette to use up my HEA.

    See you all tomorrow...

Woo hoo wi tonight and ive 7 lb off. Yay. I was in tesco today as well and they didnt have the extra lean pork mince. I dont really like buying mince from the supermarkets anyway so im going to see what some of the bigger butchers nearby have to offer

    well done.. great loss :T

my sis and I were talking about ex lean mince and she said a friend of hers puts her mince in a sieve then pours boiling water over to get rid of the fat, then shakes to dry it off.... not sure it that would make a difference if no ex lean available or what it would taste like!

I love the sound of the BBQ outside. It has been driving rain most of the day here today. For some reason I always feel more motivated when its sunny.

Lantana and Beanielou well done on the loses :T:T

I noticed on hotukdeals that there is free sw membership with Woman magazine this week.

No problem synning real oil. I believe you can have olive oil as a HEX if you want. 5 syns seems generous for 100 mls of wine. There's only 8/8.5 in a 250 ml glass so you must be well within.

I'm sure your idea of bad weather has changed from when you lived over here!:rotfl:
I'd say chicken sausages and marshmallows are fairly low syn so for a celebration you've done pretty well.

I've had a SW breakfast and a flexi lunch (out) today. Not feeling like eating anything else so overall probably not too much damage done. Chicken out of freezer defrosting for tomorrow, planning a casserole with loads of veg.:D
  • Oh, maybe I'll have another one then! So 250 mls is 8 syns, good to know!
