Evening everyone. Took the plunge tonight and went along to the brand new group that had started locally.
What a shambles....
Around 100 people had turned up, the IT stuff wasnt working so an hour and half later still not registered or weighed.
To top it off a girl got her bag stolen with her new phone, purse etc all in it.
So this was supposed to be my first official weigh in, get my pack and start my journey but now need to wait til next Tuesday and hope they have things sorted. Hasnt installed much faith though!!First ever SW challenge 2015: 0/70Watch this space!0 -
Thanks for all your encouraging messages. I will try and get over my little outburst but I am trying so hard. I can't exercise because I'm disabled, I always walk upstairs as often as I can and use the bottom stair as a step up. I also take quite a bit of medication which I know slows weight loss down. But, I'm on it now and tomorrow will be,
B porridge A and B AND Fruit
S Yoghurt
L Spaghetti on toast 3 syns tomato beetroot pickled cauli Fruit
S light digestive 3 syns
D cottage pie B 15gm cheese on top A mixed veg and garden peas Fruit
I'm back on track. Thanks again0 -
I reached target weight six months ago and intended to still go to group every month or so to keep in target range.
However i did'nt manage to do that and now reckon i'm about 4 or 5 lbs over target.
Does anyone know if i would i have to join again or just go back as a target member, i wonder if theres is a time limit of six months or so to be able to do that
Thank youIf you haven't been to group within the last 4 weeks - i'm afraid you will have to re-join - but your new target will have to be at least 7 lbs away
If you go back within the 4 weeks - you will still be a member and have a grace week to get back in target - if you then don't get back within that week you will have to pay until you get back to target
I hope this makes sense???
If you haven't reached target and have missed a few weeks, its often cheaper to rejoin than pay the back fees.
As Nessie has said, if (as a target member) you want to alter your weigh and lose more, it has to be by at least 7 pounds....Evening ladies
B - Apple and yogurt.
L - Leek and potato soup.
D - Lasagne (contained hea) and salad.
Snacks - 2 rocky road bars heb, 2 biscuits 6 syns, yogurt, pear.
The lasagne was lovely, we did the hairy bikers idea of using slices of leek instead of pasta sheets, I know pasta is free but I am trying to have as much fruit and veg as possible at the moment to lose the Christmas weight gain. We made a cheese sauce out of veg stock, natural yogurt, cottage cheese, garlic, corn flour and parmesan cheese, then made a dolmio type sauce and crammed loads of veg in it - mushrooms, courgette, onion and carrot, added the mince, then layered it up. Will definitely make it again, it was my hea (parmesan) and 1 syn (corn flour) per huge serving.
I recorded the hairy bikers series first time round. I watched the first episode and liked the look of this recipe but never got round to making it. Its something i might consider as its the perfect opportunity for superfree overload !:j0 -
Can I join please if I weigh myself on my wii fit every week?
I am following SW principles (went for a few months last year but am so in debt thought I would go it alone) and today I had lost 3lb. I am 12st 1lb today (from memory) and would like to get to 10st 4lb :T
I have been really good this week and even though the weekend will be naughty (my birthday!) I am then going to give up alcohol for a month until valentines day. Booze is where most of my syns come fromAnd chocolate/crisps. I love eating SW food
Tonight we had a sort of tomato and veg concoction with chilli over pasta.DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -

Hello  and welcome. I'm new myself and was a crisp and fizzy wine aholic. Am learning how to change my ways, and these guys on this forum are fab if you have any questions or just need a bit of moral support0 -
Hi all,
Went back to SW today after going AWOL for a year. Damage done, 18lb on! However, not too downhearted as last year I managed to put on 5lb over Xmas and was still on the plan.:( Was at target when I left (having lost 3stone 2lbs) so didn't have to pay this week but will have to pay next if I don't lose the 18lb before then:rotfl: Returned today because although I am still in the same size clothes breathing is now optional and I have a three tier wedding cake around top of trousers instead of muffin top. This is my danger time of the day as for the past year I have been settling down to watch recorded TV complete with cup of tea and biscuits/crisps/crackers what ever took my fancy, hence the 18lb back on.0 -
Well, what a let down, six days of not over indulging after New Years Eve and I have put on 3lb. New years day I had one bag of Walkers light crisps ans a low fat cheese cake. Each day since nothing. just either green or EE Days and one Mix 2 Max day. I think i'll give up, I am just wasting my time and money. HELP HELP HELP!!!
Don't give up!! I get weeks like that. Whenever I have a really good week I stay the same or gain maybe a pound. I just can't work it out. I have walked 2-3 miles very fast every day since 1st Jan and stuck to plan and when I weigh in tomorrow I will probably have lost nothing.
Have you tried making SW soups - they are mostly delicious and very filling. I made the Carrot, Coriander & Red Lentil soup today and everyone loved it. It kept me going until tonight when I did some salmon steaks, SW chips and a very big salad.
I'm sure you'll be fine next week.:)0 -
Can anyone tell me if this diary is ok on EE:-
Brekkie - fruit and fibre and banana and strawberries soya milk
2 plums
Lunch - 2x weight watchers thick bread and butter x 2 syns bowl of home made SW bacon and lentil soup
Tea - home made SW pork and mustard sausages with SW chips
2X cups of tea with 4 x buiscuits as my syns
Not sure if I'm doing this right?? Any advice gratefully taken0
