Lets have the playlist then - could use it when dancing around the house!

    I should of mentioned it's for 7 and 8 year olds :D

It's going to be hectic today, so all I can say at the moment is that breakfast will be another 2 oranges I brought back with me :)

    Morning everyone

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the last couple of pages. I am still a bit wobbly and sore after the op yesterday, so will be in bed for most of the day. It means I will have to enlist OH to go to the shop on the way home from work as I really need a few ingredients. OH, while wonderful in other ways, is a complete disaster in a supermarket and is usually banned ;). Our deal is that I shop and he carries it in from the car and helps unpack.

    Today I am planning:

    B. Porridge with berries
    L. Baked potato or pasta with low fat cottage cheese and chives and a salad. I am not wildly keen on cottage cheese, but dd has returned to London leaving half a tub and it seems a waste not to use it. I have lots of salad I can serve with it,
D, This depends on if I am well enough to cook. If not there is half of the quorn mince part of the shepherd's pie left, so OH can cook some potatoes and veg to fo with it.

Tomorrow I am going to a shared lunch with friends. We all bring something. I have decided to try an SW style offering! So far I am thinking of MM's Turkish salad, the humus that was posted a few days ago and some homemade ww style coleslaw. Any other suggestions welcome! Trying to keep it simple as I am so wobbly today.

    Just a wee after thought...

Does anyone know of good recipes for macaroni? I have 20 packets in the cupboard still which were part of a larger competition win. I tried to SW veg fritatta recipe from the website and we liked the change of having the macaroni in it.

This months SW magazine has a macaroni cheese recipie in it that I can wholehearted recommended. Even my children ate it :)

How about a quiche? And use the boiled macaroni as a base. Then add cottage cheese, eggs and veg and serve with a salad.

Todays dilema - been invited out to a restaurant for son's girlfriends birthday, so can't not go. Checked menu on line and the only 4 options I can have because don't eat meat are:-
    Fish and chips
    Hallumi cheese and mushroom stack
Cod and leek pie with pastry lid and
    Margaritta pizza
There are no salads or jacket potatoes unfortunately, which would be my best option don't mind whether do red/green or EE?
    Thank you in anticipation.

Thank you - I think that is good advice but I only started back on Thursday so wanted to be as good has humanely possible. Got dinner tonight with family as well, this meal is lunchtime! Tonight was going to have quorn burgers with SW chips and huge salad with SW Eton mess for dessert. Just wondered out of the 4 options what would be the best coz really don't mind any of the options. I'm thinking perhaps the mushrooms and hallumi?

As you've probably not had time to do a proper meal plan and shop since getting back from holiday we'll let you off just this once BUT..... 2 oranges is not enough for breakfast!!!:naughty: But then you knew that didn't you!;)

That's what I'd do too. If you want to minimise then maybe have the fish and chips but not eat the batter? or the pie without the pastry? Seems strange that restaurant doesn't even provide veg or salad on the side.

I made a huge SC full of SW Bolognese sauce last night, went a bit mad on the garlic and kitchen smelled like an Italian restaurant! Just off to portion it up for freezer, was getting low on HM ready meals.

I'd avoided suggesting the halloumi as I thought it would be very synful. Just looked and a Nando's portion is only 3 syns so not too bad. Maybe you could have a starter portion if you're having a big meal later? Evening meal sounds perfectly SW friendly BTW.:)
