I'm actually glad now that I picked Monday over thursday as class day as it will keep me on the straight and narrow on saturday / sunday when I normally eat the most.

Do you eat your dinner before you go to class? Mine is at 7.30pm so not sure what to do.............

I agree with you Lantanna - definitely the Monday class will keep you on plan over the weekend.

I think most people would say that they don't eat before WI but whatever you do, do the same thing every week and as Stef suggested, wear the same clothes.

hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j
  • Second day here and this is what's planned:

    B: banana, coffee
L: baked beans, fried egg (1 syn), 1 slice WM bread (0.5HEB), 1 tsp HP sauce (1 syn), Apple, grapes.
D: steak, new potatoes, steamed veg.

It's DHs birthday so we will have some champagne too - so 6 syns for that.
We have friends round for dinner so my HEA will be a bit of cheese after the meal and I'll skip dessert.

    Hiya Gang,

I'm back in cold damp Blighty

Managed to get the pool up to swimming temp for the last few days, so got some exercise in. And sporting a nice pink face which will hopefully turn brown :D

I dare not go near the scales :o

I am determined to get back on plan ASAP.

For breakie this morning wife had put me out a pan au chocolate, but I was not tempted and had 2 oranges which I'd brought back :)

Lunch will be a huge salad with chicken breast and dinner will be fish and veg.
It's DD's birthday party tomorrow for her friends. So I'm going to be the DJ :p

Just skimming back and read Lucky Legs' edited post. I've missed you LL and hope I haven't lost my naughty step mate :A

    Catch you all later x

... just to say hi

I had a week of bingeing over Easter. Was supposed to be only 4 days, but I couldn't hold on until Good Friday and I started eating on the Monday before. It turned into a week long Pig/Frog fest which wasn't great, but I'm glad to say I hopped back on the wagon on Monday 1st April, and it's now Friday 12th, and I haven't binged :D

I'm happy with my size and how I look. My size 12 jeans are fitting nicely and there isn't any fat forcing it's way over the wasteband  I'm not getting on the scales as that's a binge trigger point for me so not going there.

I shall be thirty-ten next weekend (you're right, thanks, I don't look it do I?) and am determind to keep my head straight and lose the chaotic eating for good as I'll be a bit too old for all that malarky me thinks :D

Great to read MedMum is still ok, and Stef, TakeitEasy and Macpep are doing well too. The stalwarts know a thing or too so welcome newbys and hope they give you as much support as they've given me.

I used to wear the same clothes but they got baggier and baggier. Puts me in mind of banjo (good to have you back BTW). Whatever you do don't go dancing around tomorrow and risk trousers falling off again!:rotfl:
L: baked beans, fried egg (1 syn), 1 slice WM bread (0.5HEB), 1 tsp HP sauce (1 syn), Apple, grapes.
D: steak, new potatoes, steamed veg.

Why did you syn egg? Free if using frylight. And yes, banana is SF. Enjoy birthday dinner with your friends and DH. Will you have some Ryvita (or similar) with your cheese for the rest of HEB?

Great to see you posting again mm! :DAnd very well done for managing to maintain.

Good loss stef. Doing a mixture of SW and your advice from clinic does seem to be working.

Lantanna, remember to have diet tonic with the G&T's, much less synful than the full fat stuff. I think it's 4 syns for a measure plus the tonic.

Looking through food optimising book and getting a bit confused. Know s = speed and ss = superspeed but where does superfree come into it? Get the idea of a third of each meal needing to be sf but thought a banana was just free?
    Please advice.

Superfree is most fruit and veg but not quite all. It doesn't include things like peas, baked beans, sweet corn and I think parsnips those are free but not superfree. There's a list in the book. Just ask away if there's anything you need to know.

Your SF's are on the first couple of pages, the lists of all the fruit and veg. Make sure you look through them up and down noting things you do eat as little things like parsnips we would think are a veg and SF are actually only free like potatoes ;)
