I'd almost stopped making SW chips but as McCains have now gone up to £1.75 in Sainsbury's:eek: (used to be £1 and they're on offer at Asda I believe) and so I made my own wedges last night. I followed the recipe exactly and they were really good. Scrub the potatoes, cut into chunky wedges, parboil for 5 mins, cool, spray, sprinkle with paprika and cook for about 30 mins at 200.

I have done wedges before in a griddle pan & they were scrummy, I just love my wee herby potatoes done in the actifry :rotfl:, prob have wedges if I am having a burger or something & to me thats a "summer food", if we ever get any sun!

D: stirfry with omlette and rice (HEB olive oil), yogurt (3 syns), fruit.

    Does this seem OK?

I've never been one to eat a big breakfast Nessie, usually some fruit, coffee, multivitamin. I eat lunch at 12.00 and usually don't have a snack in between - I'm just not a morning eater type person and never have been (I'm not a morning person full stop)

For The HEA I'll take a milky coffee later if I haven't used up everything in milk for tea or I'll have a bit of cheese as dessert. I often eat cheese at the end of dinner and IIRC 30g of standard hard cheese is a HEA? I've marked the syns for coffee so far as if I take cheese later on then I'll need to bare them in mind for my total.

Thats what I do as well, I also have a 'treat box' I make up for hte week, It will consist of wine for the weekend :D, some french fries, freddos/kit kats/rocky biscuits etc, if I use say 5 syns on puff patry or gravy/butter etc, I just remove a 5-syn treat from my box, that way if the box is empty, I have no syns left, I also keep track of it on an excel spreadsheet which I have set up to auto-total my syns :D

Really like the idea of the syn box, going to do that as found before if I did not have my syns I did not lose. The excel bit is over my head! Just emptied a large Tupperware box of crap in my kitchen so I will use that. Going to get the free membership token from Woman mag next week and re join to get new books and Internet access, then going to syn my whole kitchen!

Making the Moroccan veg with lemon and mint couscous for tea.

Gained 1.5 lbs over the last 2 weeks so not too pleased with self. Consultant has recommended I try Success Express.
Trying to get myself motivated to even look at the booklet.:(

Sorry to hear that Pennylane, have you been sticking to plan? 1.5lb is really not a great deal but I can understand you being upset if you have been sticking to it and not losing :(
