Voucher in Woman mag issue 17 for free membership worth £10, valid for 2 weeks, so might go and get the new books, also seen that nearest group has a new consultant, pity class in on an evening, not good for me.0

Thanks for all your thoughts on the wine. Making a treat box up and marking off sins on the fridge seems like a great idea. I actually feel stuffed tonight with all the fruit and veg I'm eating. Also drinking lots of yummy green tea with peppermint. Just had a thought I wonder if this free - I know green t is but with the peppermint flavouring i dont know. Anybody know? I hope so! So yes I'm going to have a drink at the weekend and this is going to have to be a lifestyle change and if I feel deprived Ill end up jacking it in. I've lost weight too many times (4/5 stone) at a time to put it all on again a few years later. So this time I'm determined Im doing it and its coming off for good.
The plan for tomorrow is B: Muller Light with Yoghurt & Kiwi, Lunch: Tomato and Ham Salad & 3 Baby Bel light
Dinner: Jacket spud with to be decided lol
It makes it so much easier planning in advance and knowing what you are going to have! Two days I'm on this and it feels like its a week with all the chopping and shopping Ive done.
Stocked up tonight on more fruit, more veg, fry light, muller lights (10 for £4 in Tesco ) btw and some new additions to the spice and herbs rack!! So hopefully the spending will start to come ease off now!!
I'm excited for Monday night to see what Ive lost.
Was tossing up between a Monday or thursday class and ended up going for the Monday as I thought it would help me stay on track a bit more over the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
I do the 105 syns bank thing too. I'm at target and I've found it a great way of fitting SW into my lifestyle.
Don't want to put you off treating yourself but I used charity shops a lot when I was dropping sizes or some cheap basics from places like Matalan. I found it useful for smaller clothes but I experimented (cheaply) with colours I hadn't worn when I covered myself up in black from head to toes.
Maman how much weight have you lost and how long have you been at target? Any tips or motivational pointers for us newbies?0 -
Hello:wave:
I'm new here but I have done SW in the past, just about the time they bought in EE. I have to confess that I didn't do it very well, stopped and now find myself as heavy as just after I'd given birth to my 3rd child
So I have to do something, calorie counting is a pain and I remember most of the basics of SW. There's no class near me and I still have some of the info about healthy extras, SF etc, so I though that maybe I could join you here instead of going to class.
The weatherman is promising spring soon, so I know that the good weather makes me want to eat healthier. My big downfall is having a nice glass of wine (OR TWO) in the evening, which then leads me to have a snack.
I have to do something, I'm too wobbly and it makes me feel bad about myself, so I'll kick off tomorrow.Seriously money saving0 -
Im the same, wine is my downfall and the snacks that follow! Pots of Supermarket hummus, crisps and the chinese over the road!!!!0

I lost 3.5 stone and I've been at target for 20 months. The only problem I've had is slipping under target! I started off just edging into an 18 and now I can fit into a size 10.
What has motivated me more than anything else is the great feel-good factor that has come with losing weight. I no longer feel like an anonymous bag lady. It's brilliant to be able to walk into any High Street store and pick up an outfit without scrabbling to the back of the rail for the big sizes or choosing 'floaty' styles that look like maternity.
The best advice I can give is PLAN! PLAN! PLAN!
As you'll see from today's posts, my preferred syns are wine syns. If I wanted to munch I'd even go as far as doing a quick jacket potato regardless of it being 11 p.m. or perhaps easier keep some cold meat in the fridge for snacking (chicken tikka slices are good). If you like sweet then red berries with sweetener and a dollop of Total 0%.
Sorry you've had a hard time lucky-legs, so glad you felt able to call by. Be back soon!!0
