Sorry to appear daftl but in the free foods fruit and veg section if it hasn't got s or ss by it is it also not sf?
In those lists they are all Superfree. If it has S or SS by it, it means that the more of those you eat the speedier your weight loss. These essentially are for people who find their weights have platuead and need a push in the right direction.
For instance if you were to base your weeks meals on foods that all have the extra symbols beside them so SS, HH, FF you would see a better loss that week than a week where you had less of them if you get what im trying to say?

If you look carefully down the lists you'll see that some things we consider fruit and veg are missing like peas and parsnips. They're free (see under starchy veg and pulses on the Green pages) so you can eat them but don't count them into your one third SF. And beware avocado!! That's got loads of syns and isn't free at all!

Thank you so much for that explanation, previously I've always done red or green days so I think that's where I was getting confused. Knew had to count parsnips, peas etc on red.
    So far today I've had:-
Breakfast - half a melon, 2 kiwi and activia 0% vanilla yogurt
Mid morning snack - a banana
Lunch - homemade carrot soup using carrots, red onion, veggie stock and dried corriander
Afternoon snack - 2 plums and a cherry bakewell hifi bar
Proposed dinner - pasta with homemade tomato sauce using onion, passata and tin of chopped tomatoes and a large salad with lettuce, onions, cucumber and tomatoes.
Does that sound ok and am I right in thinking that all the fruit and veg are superfree?

That's all fine. I notice you aren't having meat in any form today, you could essentially make this a green day and have extra HEB if you think you may need them.

I'm a fish eating veggie so I do prefer the red and green days - i've also had success with it in the past (losing 2 stone) so do feel more comfortable with it. Just remembered I had 4 original Ryvitas with my soup so that needs to be another HB.
Thank you again everybody, feel really confident today that can get back to target.

I used to wear the same clothes but they got baggier and baggier. Puts me in mind of banjo (good to have you back BTW). Whatever you do don't go dancing around tomorrow and risk trousers falling off again!:rotfl:

    ......

    LOL I'll try, but can't promise :D

Got a cracking playlist for dancing ;)

    I've missed you Maman :A

Why did you syn egg? Free if using frylight. And yes, banana is SF. Enjoy birthday dinner with your friends and DH. Will you have some Ryvita (or similar) with your cheese for the rest of HEB?

    .

I used half a tsp of oil o cook the egg as I haven't got any frylight.
I'll take another slice of bread with the cheese for the HEB, perhaps slice it in half and tost to make kind of melba toast.

tomorrow night I'm doing thai and only have normal (not low fat) coconut milk - any idea of the syns? I'm guessing it's going to be high!
    Seriously money saving
