Bought a lot of fruit & veg today.
Some great offers in Aldi today.
I make a mean cheesy leek soup & all the veg I need was on the super 6 offer for 49p.

    Thank you confused :)

I can see a mixed herb mix at 5 syns for 34g. I don't think it's the right one but seems more like the right number of syns.

ETA: just tried the calculator and it is 5 syns. Maybe you put the kJ in the kcal box?

    Enjoy!!

I had planned fish with cauli and new potatoes for supper tonight. But it's so cold here I've done a Lancashire Hotpot instead. Probably a few more syns but I need something comforting. And it's April!

    Many thanks.
Just tried the calculator again, and you are correct - i put the kJ figure into the kcal box:o

    Hi everyone
Well its day 2 back on track and I'd forgotten how much you can eat on plan!!

Only problem is I can't seem to fit in my healthy extra 'A' choice. Can anyone give me any ideas on what to use it for, given that i don't really like milk on cereal (i use yogurt) & I don't drink tea or coffee so don't need any there either. I'm not a big cheese lover either so struggle to have 'solid' cheese on a daily basis, although I don't mind it when it is melted. Gosh I sound fussy:o
At 9.30 last night I remembered I hadn't had my HE'A' so forced down 75g of philly extra light on 0.5 syn water biscuits:eek: hoping not to repeat that again this week.

Tonight I'm melting cheese on my quorn and veg chilli:T

It's not the end of the world if you miss the odd day. As and Bs are 'extras' after all and there are other ways to get the calcium. What about something like Dairylea triangles or Laughing Cow? They slip down very easily as a snack or you can spread them on your bread/crackers in place of spread/butter?

L: Wholemeal roll (HEB) Tuna, sweetcorn & red pepper mixed in 1 tbsp of ex. light mayo (1 syn) with watercress & cherry tomatoes. ML Greek style FF Lemon yogurt (1/2 syn)
T: SW Pizza chicken (HEA) with large SF salad
S & D: Banana, satsuma, tea, milk for tea (HEA), water, small fruit juice (2 syns), and maybe a small glass of wine ;) (6 syns).
Have a good Friday everyone
