It's quiet on here at the moment, where are all the prolific posters?!

I was thinking that too, I know Banjo is on holiday, but Stef has not been around much either, wonder if she has gone away too?? Pluse lots of other regulars not been around much either.

    My EE day today

    B - 1 x 800g wholmeal toast (B), 1/2 tin tomatoes, banana Milk in drinks (A)

L - Not entirely sure but I have the other half tin of tomatoes and also some pre cooked new potaotes in the fridge might 'fry' up the potatoes with some onion and serve with eggs and the toms and maybe some mushrooms.

T - Chicken, Leek and mushroom potato topped pie served with lots of vegetables.

Syns as usual as they happen :)

I am also giving EE a try which, if you remember I have always avoided like the plague. I can't really get my head around it but I think the change might help. I will be picking the brains of the EE followers I'm sure.

I'd always avioded EE too until I started to come on here, the help and support I've been given from here has really helped me make sense of it all and not only have I been eating some really tasty meals I've been losing weight steadily too :D Good luck and I guess welcome back even though that was 'before my time!'
  • Hi, chuffed I found a thread on slimming world for support. I am always on MSE as addicted to saving money etc. I re joined slimming world beginning of January and have lost 2st 4 lb to date. feeling so much better. My friend as joined now after seeing how well I was doing which is brilliant as the support within the week from each other is invaluable. I have been a member on and off for years but something this time as finally clicked and its become my priority to get this weight off for good. 2 stone gone, 4 to go.

Today we are off to our friends house and her husband for barbecue ( will be sitting inside to eat if its too cold though lol) and we have both done all sw friendly foods. Won't be drinking though as on strong painkillers for back pain.

Looking forward to chatting to you all x

Stayed the same this week = minor miracle. Need to get back on plan want 6 lb off in 4 weeks. I can do this. That will bring me to 3 stone. .

That's definitely achievable travellinglight . Loads of superfrees should keep you fill and headed in the right direction.:j
Confused57, having been at target you are sure to have lots of tip once you are back on the wagon again, lol. :rotfl: Did you do Extra Easy last time or was it still red and green days? I only ask because I would have thought Extra Easy is more of a lifestyle change and easier to keep to some of the basic principles in 'real life' once target is reached.

:wave:confused, good to see you back. Your new target is very do-able just shout if you want any EE advice.

I'm sure it's the Easter school holidays making it quiet on here. I just hope being awol doesn't mean everyone's off plan and doing this!:EasterBun

My task yesterday to do a meal plan and a big shop (after weekend away) didn't materialise due to unexpected visitors. I did manage to cobble together a good supper though. We had sausage, mash, carrots, cabbage, peas and gravy with onions. So 1 syn for 2 sausages and perhaps 3 for the gravy. While we were eating DH asked (somewhat randomly) whether peas counted as vegetables. I gave him a talk about the difference between 5 a day and SFs!;)

I know SW is a healthy eating plan for life but it does help to be reminded of that. I've found that now I'm at target I can introduce a few extras (like I had a squirt of sauce with my egg on toast for breakfast) but my basic food plan is still very SW friendly.

    Definitely nightowl, couldn't agree more.

If you think that we're traditionally a 'meat and two veg' nation then EE is ideal for RL. And if you can make it 3 veg all the better!:rotfl:
