    I lost 0.5lbs this week

& Consultant couldn't resist telling everyone my news so sent round the scan pic during IMAGE therapy! (she had my permission)

Now set target at what i am now - am hoping (not so secretly) that i can stay within this target throughout the pregnancy - something to discuss with midwife the next time i see her!

Good luck to those still to weigh in this week x

    Hi all,

Belated happy birthday Stef, hope WI is better than you expect.

I went to class last night and was horrified to see I'd put on 6lb  Can't be right as I was on plan for 4 days then had 3 days not on plan but didn't go mad or stuff myself so no idea where that number came from. Saying that, it is the tail end of * week so could well be some water and it'll be gone again next week but still annoying, sets me back another week and am not far off where I was in the new year :( Anyway, went out for OH's birthday after WI and had exactly what I wanted, which happened to be a creamy cheesy baked pasta dish with garlic bread followed by ice cream and I enjoyed every mouthful! :D Back on it 100% today!

    EE today:
    B: Porridge (B), milk (B), banana
    L: Mugshot, satsuma
T: WW sausages (1.5), mash, carrots, broccoli, gravy (2)
    S: Possibly a Curly Wurly (6)

Planning to save a few syns to have a couple of glasses of wine at the weekend, so will see whether I need the chocolate tonight.

Have a good day all :)

Did anyone else in group have unexpected gains? Was the groups total weight loss low compared to normal?

I had one class that nearly everyone gained & it was because the scales were faulty - not that i'm trying to get your hopes up :o

I think i should stop digging now :rotfl:

It's funny you should say that because I do the weighing with another lady and we were both saying (privately) that a majority of people gained and most didn't know why. Not all did, and we had a couple of 3lb losses but the general trend was definitely up and above what people thought was justified. I'm not in denial or anything and wouldn't mind if I thought it was a true gain, but when I gained 5lb over Christmas I'd eaten everything and I KNEW I'd gained because I felt bloated and my clothes were tighter, but I don't feel like that at all now so it must be water or scales or something. Meh, am back on it now so will see what they say next week ;)

Well done on your loss BTW! :)

Good morning all, Blodwen I hope you manage to get the weight rectified pretty soon, as you say a gain that large is unusual and i would be really miffed if that happened to me.

Not holding much hope for the scales today as my own scales are still showing a gain * week is imminent but how soon is a different matter altogether as it seems to show when it feels like it now :(

    Todays meals are

B, porridge made with water, frozen mixed berries stirred through
L, roasted veg with couscous, banana
    T, baked canneloni with salad
Cheese on toast as a snack (hea + 6syns)
Drinking on average 3 pints of squash a day now instead of coffee.
    Come on scales shift!!!!

Its given me hope that I'm back firmly on the wagon & heading in the right direction again.

Oh....and for those that remember me from last time around, I have had the offer of another holiday dangled in front of me as a method of making me keep my focus on target :D

Just a quick check in from me, 2lbs off this week! Hooray! Couldn't stay to group though as I had to get back in time for the nice man from BG to come and mend my boiler!!! Sunday and yesterday were proper eat to stop feeling so cold days (hot puds and custard last night!) so I'm happy with 2lbs frankly, and it could have been a lot worse (it's very cold!!)

Next Monday is my youngest's birthday and we have said we'll all go out for lunch, odds are it will be Pizza Hut - any suggestions for not having a major blowout?????

Well done to the losers this week, hugs to those not so happy with the scales xx

Ages since I've been to Pizza Hut but don't they do pasta and salads as well? Just because it's Pizza Hut it's not compulsory to eat Pizza, LOL!

Personally I'd stick with pasta and salad.

Hi everyone, hope all is well over here today. Well done to all the losers and hugs to those that need them though Blowden I think there must be some other explanation for your gain x

    Today EE..

    B - 2 x weetabix (B), Milk (A), Banana
L - SW chips, eggs, 2 x WW sausages (1 syn), tomatoes, mushrooms followed by 2 satsumas to make up a bit on the 3rd SF
T - Not sure but as I've got a Parent Council meeting at the school and will be out most of the evening it's likely to be Jacket potato, cheese (to be synned) and heinz spag bol (3 syns).

Dunno why anyone would ever think SW is a diet though, just look at my lunch today.... :)
