It reaaaaaly is!!!! Just crack them as they are - they set in 5 mins in my oven. I could only manage half today, so have half reserved for tomorrows breakfast :)

I happened across your post earlier and made your recipe for lunch, it was delicious and I'm sure will become a regular Sunday brunch. :D
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)

Thank you, this is going on my meal plan as a midweek evening meal with some SW chips :)
  • Evening all, hope everyone is well & had a lovely weekend.

I weighed myself this morning out of curiosity (weigh day tomorrow) & i've somehow lost 4 oz's which i'm pleased with (better than a gain) considering how poor my diet had been this week. :)

Breakfast - bacon sandwich using wholemeal bread (HEB) & a banana
Lunch - left over vegetable curry
Dinner - vegetable curry (again) & rice
Dessert - 2 ww fat free yoghurts
Snacks - Alpen Light bar (3 syns) Caramel Snack A Jacks (5 syns) Milk in tea (HEA)

I've got a hospital appointment tomorrow morning & I hope my surgeon is happy with my weight loss so far.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

    Hi all,

Nessie - can see pic now, awww, bet you can't wait!

Well done BCS (and to all the other losers), good luck for your appointment.

I'm almost certainly in for a gain tonight - felt rubbish all weekend (possibly migraine but only ever had one once before so not sure) and could only face bland stuff, so weekend consisted of eating toast, sandwiches, stuff on toast and toasties, which then led to a bit of a sod it attitude so couple of hot cross buns and biscuits followed :( Tomorrow is a new day and I know I'll be back on it with a vengeance but feel so rubbish and guilty about eating stuff like that - like Frogga and many others said, that's something I need to work on. A few months ago I was really proud of myself when I had a bad few days but managed to get back on before WI but seem to have lost that ability atm. Even the thought of hols didn't cut it, but do really need to stop messing around - have been up and down since Christmas and it really needs to stop.

Saying that, today won't be much better- trying not to go mad but not SW at all. Still not feeling great although rubbish food probably isn't helping...
    B: Nutrigrain bar
L: Something from Tesco- will try and go for a healthy eating sandwich
T: OH's birthday so out for Italian
S: Mini egg cake that OH has brought in for work

Hope everyone has a better day! :)

Bad weekend, mainly due to having a lazy one cos of the snow.... Therefore WI this week was a STS, so at least I didn't put on.

Can't wait for the snow to go so I can start walking the dogs and getting out again, it occupies the mind and stops me eating for the sake of it.

Trying a new recipe tonight, plan is one new thing a week to try out and I know I'm going to love it because it has alll my favs. Fajita chicken pasta - think someone on here posted it last week/week before, so it's a lot better than the tortilla version, a lot less syns.

I don't post on here much, but thanks to everyone for the new information and ideas - it's a Godsend:beer:

Good Luck for WI tomorrow :T
Banjo & BCS - Big cyber hugs to you, both of you seem to be having a hard time with your [STRIKE]better[/STRIKE] other halves:eek:

Was 100% on plan all weekend, my DH refused to take me to the new Krispy Kreme place as we were driving home from Ednburgh, he reminded me I had made SW pakora & chicken tikka, I just wanted to see what the big fuss was over a doughnut 'sake, I had to settle for a bit of cheesecake & cream after roast dinner last night :D so no more syns for me, I found my laptop charger whilst moving stuff from old unit to new one, didn't know it was my charger until I asked DH if he knew what it was for :rotfl:I can now get online at night again

    Todays EE plan:-

B - Pineapple, Melon, berries, nat yoghurt
L - Dyno Rod Soup, apple, kiwi, melon, pineapple
D - Mexican Bake (a), actifry herby potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower
    S - Banana, mullerlight, 2 alpen lights (b)
