What are potato scallops wizkid? When my mam made them they had batter on???

WI for me tomorrow. I think I'm still in target range but need a reality check.

Interesting discussion about weight v inches earlier. I think many of us have a dress size in mind rather than a weight. I remember talking to a friend when I started SW. We decided: happy with an average size 12 but knew that might mean a Primani 14 or a size 10 if you paid enough!!:D

Banjo, where are you? Just thought you might be going for the 32" waist or whatever size makes your trousers fall down when you dance around the kitchen:rotfl:!

When I started I said I would stop at a size 12, got to Christmas and my dress I had to buy in a 10 in Quiz (real high street chain where I would always expect to buy a size up usually) and I was shocked.
Fast forward a few weeks and I have a suit for work which is size 8 trousers and a size 8 jacket so will try size 8 jeans this weekend (:O) but mostly I end up buying 10/12 depending on the style of dress and top as I still need to fit boobs in :rotfl:

Was at a conference with work yesterday and it ended up being a flexi syn day - made sure that I didn't eat many of the cupcakes floating round (just 2 minis and bought the rest back for bf when he gets back from Germany tonight) then out for dinner with bf's grandparents where I had a carvery and a desert! Back on plan today

    Today:
    Cereal and milk, banana
    tangerines
cheesy mugshot (3syns??) tangerines, kiwi fruit
    flump (2syn)
skinny lizzy sausage x2 (2syn) plus veggies and smash

might throw in a treat of a pack of space raiders too (6syn)

Frogga - Not sure whether when you were attending a group it was ever mentioned about SW evolving into a class where you dont weigh you measure inches. It is to come about because of the amount of people who really dont see the scales moving but clothing wise there's a big difference. My consultant was talking about it last week because she has one member in her saturday group who has lost less than a stone in the time she has been attending group but inch wise has gone from a size 16 to a size 10. It may have more to do with where the 'fat' deposits and whether it is in an area that is more easily shifted than others.

I hope not , weight is important as well ,

    Morning all,

Interesting discussion about weight vs. size. As I said yesterday, I'm weird because even if I lose a lot I don't go down much in size - must be the opposite to the girl you mentioned Stef! I don't think classes should change to not weighing but ultimately it is size, how you look and feel and body composition that count rather than weight - if I was a size 10 and healthy I wouldn't care what weight I was!

    EE for me today:
B: Berries, pineapple, FF Greek yog, 1 weetabix (half B), golden syrup (2)
L: L/O Quorn stir fry and egg fried rice
T: Lamb, spinach and potato curry and rice, pitta bread (7)
S: Alpen light (half B), pineapple

Have a good day folks :)

If you want to see the scales shift try swapping your fruits around. Grapes are high in natural sugars where if you had something more water based such as melon then you would just pee it back out.You are also not eating enough. Your lunch today has not sustainance to it so you should be looking to eat something else. Not eating enough of the right foods will also see gains or sts on the scales.

Hi all, not on as much today as am poorly :( Woke up at 1.50am with the intense urge to be sick but nothing will come up. Am extremely nauseous and have a really dodgy belly. Struggling to stay awake with every bone in my body aching. Not long had a call from daughter at work who says she is being sent home as she has been sick so seems the virus that went around her work place a fortnight ago is coming back to bite everyone on the butt this time.
Due to consent dry wretching have eaten nothing today filling up on squash and paracetamol, hoping to be fitting fit for the morning.

Will try and make it in to WI tonight as it is the Biggest loser session for son to receive his sash. Hubby has been teasing him that he also has to have a fairy wand and a tiara too when photos are taken :rotfl:

Thank you stef, I'll try and swap to lower sugar fruits and see if that makes a difference. The not eating enough is something I'm really struggling with, but I'll take it on board, might try some batch cooking over the weekend so I've got a stockpile of lunches for work! x
