That's a good recipe for EE. If you were having a green day, you could use the traditional method and substitute milk for stock and with your 2 HEAs it would be totally free. Or, as it stands it could be free by using your cheese as a HEX. (I haven't checked quantities). I'm so pleased to read this as I banned cauliflower cheese (big favourite of mine) when I was getting to target but now I can eat it happily.

Sorry to hear about your dreadful day sharalee, do feel free to whine all you like, you deserve it!!:) One positive is the doctor's getting it sorted for you at last.

Blodwen well done on the loss it really is great to see such an achievement. How long has it taken you to get to where you are? I know you have a date on your signature but is that the beginning of your weight loss journey or had you dabbled with diets before?

I've been on various diets for years, tried em all. Have done SW before when I was about 16 but could only ever lose 1.5 stone and got frustrated, so weight has always been up and down. This is the longest I've been on a set plan, and definitely most consistent. I did lose 4st in 6 months 5-6 years ago just doing it myself (I was going to WW but not following their plan, did my own break up diet, lol!) then about another 2 stone but I started much lighter than this time so ended up being really thin. Something had to give though, which resulted in steadily gaining until last April when I joined SW for the last time... ;)

Some very encouraging results on here today. Blodwen, you've done amazingly well to get to 5st in under a year.:T:T If you haven't got a target weight in mind, do you have a dress size you'd like to be for those weddings/holidays?
I found it easy to choose a target weight as it was where I'd always been as an adult before the stress snacking/vino and general idleness caught up with me!;)

Well I have a size 14 dress for the wedding that I can just about get on and do up now, but probably need to lose about 1-1.5 stone to be able to breathe in it :rotfl: Would like to be a 12 really but as long as dress fits I can live with that :p Funny thing is, when I lost loads a few years ago it was the first time in my adult life I'd been slim so unlike many people I had no idea what weight to aim for. My target was 11.2 then, and I was about a 12 when I reached it, but that may be different now. I am weird in that I don't seem to go down many dress sizes when lose weight - they say it's 10lb per size but that's never been the case for me- in 5st I've gone down about 2.5 sizes, so it's all a matter of wait and see I think!
    Wow, 5 stone. :T What's your secret? :o

I need to lose another 11.8 kg before I can have my surgery. :o

Lol, no secret, and I probably shouldn't disclose everything I do because it's not strictly following the rules! I think the main reason is because I had >7st to lose in the first place, so it came off quickly to start with. Main things I would say I do are eats loads of SF, even if doing red or green, try and vary meals a bit (although not great at that), drink water, have a treat to look forward to every night (Freddo obsession!), have plenty of back ups in the cupboard like a Mugshot in case I don't have any lunch made, and the big one is plan - I try and have the week planned out but if not I know what I'm having that day, so there is no chance to think about having something that hasn't been planned for and counted. Sorry if all that seems obvious and boring but that's how I roll :rotfl:

Sorry to hear your health troubles Shara - hope things are sorted for you and OH very soon.

Well done Dulce, great loss :)

EE today (and a rare variation on breakfast following a challenge our consultant has set us!)
B: Mixed berries, pineapple, FF Greek yog, 1 crumbled up weetabix (half B), maple syrup (2)
L: Meeting friend in canteen so JP, beans, salad, satsuma
T: Lamb, spinach and potato curry & rice
S: Milk (A), pineapple, Spiral (6), Alpen light (half B)

    Happy hump day folks! :)

Blodwen you are so right about planning. I get odd looks from group members when i am asked to give advice to newbies. I always say to plan and in the early days to shop online only for the ingredients you will use for those recipes to keep costs down and to keep you away from the snacks aisles. Another thing is not to have too many treats in, if like you your obsession is Freddo's buy one pack so if you go on a binge then you can only eat your weeks worth of syns if you know you have no inclination to shop inbetween. Congratulations on the loss and im sure you will be at your desired size before too long :)

Just wanting to get tomorrow over and done with myself now as i hate the anticipation that builds pre- WI, Yet love the attitude i walk away from group with where i am so focused on a great week ahead.
