I might try the tacos - can't see myself using omlettes - just wouldn't be the same!!!

    Thanks for the help

Asda WM Tortilla wraps - 34g are 4.5 syns each
WW Tortilla Wraps - 40g are 5 syns each

May make it feel like the real thing, you could have 2 wraps for 10 syns rather than 17.5
I loved fajitas, just have the meat mixture now with pasta and cheese :D

Welcome back Dizzy, sorry to hear you've been having a bad time.

Good on your son Stef, amazing what a difference losing weight makes :)

All this talk of lemon curd is making me want to make some, a job for next week methinks ;)

Just been over to see my old colleagues for a catch up and because they are having a comic relief cake competition. There were some amazing looking cakes and I was under strict instructions from OH to buy him something, so I got him a cupcake with vanilla buttercream and a cherry red nose. It looked and smelt amazing but weirdly I wasn't that bothered having it sat in front of me while I had coffee with my mate - seem to have have lost the taste for stuff like that a bit. I left it on OH's desk as I had to go straight to the lab after and he emailed to ask if I wanted a bit, but then he rang me to say he forgot he'd asked and had eaten it all :rotfl:

:jGreat to see you dizzy. So sorry to hear your sad news. I guessed it was something like that, I knew you wouldn't jump off the wagon for no good reason.

There are a few small syn changes to SW since the new books and many of us have access to the website. So, just ask away if there's anything you need. Is it your plan to 'go it alone' for a while and rejoin a group when you've got your head (and other parts of anatomy;)) back in gear?

Thank you all for the lovely replies. Been MIA today while car was in garage having its wonderful expensive medicine - new coil pack, spark plugs and heat shield re-attached to the lovely some of £170 - another loss in the Robinson household this week, just a shame its the wrong type of ££/lbs :rotfl:

Breakfast today was - Beans on Heb - seed sensations.
Lunch - JP with beans and decent salad.
Tea - pork loin steaks, pots, cabbage, green beans and peas.
I know there's no SF with brekkie but i dont care :D will make up for it with a bowl of melon, pineapple and kiwi later.
Not sure how to use syns yet as have been enjoying having extra Hex's instead of chocolate etc so depending on whether munchies set in later will depend on whether they are used or not or have an extra buffer for tomorrows meal out :o

Going to weight myself tonight at the gym before my workout and whilst still in my work clothes (more similar to what I was getting weighed it at group/what I wear to weigh myself in Boots)

Hoping to see at least a 1lb loss but not so sure.

My new work suit is a size 8 from Next (still adamant the trousers can't be an 8!!!) and the trousers actually fit better now that when I got it two weeks ago even though according to the scales last week I have gained two pounds since buying them :S

Want to ideally be back at 10'10 if not tonight then by next weekend.

Been to the dentist today - a major milestone for me since moving since my last dentist appears to have scarred me for life with her behaviours! This guy was awesome though - super calm!

Would usually have rewarded myself with something sweet (last time I visited a dentist was months pre-SW) BUT I was craving fruit salad (!) so went to get some from Morrisons but it didn't look so appealing so ended up with anotehr net of tangerines (must stop buying these!) and some onions for making even more soup!

Also let myself sneak in to Boots to check out some new make up I think I want haha!

Gym for an hour tonight - going to try for some lower body weights to tone up my legs and tush. bit of walking/maybe a jog to warm up (10/15mins), 5mins on the handbike to work on my arms a little, 1000m on the rowing machine and 10mins or so on the cross trainer. Need to fit another 10mins of something in so maybe a few reps of crunches and some more handbike if I can bear it!

    Hi folks

Real sorry Ive been AWOL for so long ..... things have not been so good in the land of the Dizzy one.

My Mum Died last April - the Breast cancer spread, then 2 months later my MIL suffered the same fate from Bowel Cancer.....so its been a really horrible time all round & Ive struggled getting my head around a lot of things that have happened as a consequence of (mainly) my mum passing.

So here I am - a house move, breakdown, and 3 stone weight gain later :o plus a few incidental other sodding health issues chucked at me just for fun ;)

really do need to get my bum back on the wagon now but don't feel ready to walk (wobble/hobble) back to a class so hoping that those of you who remember me might take me under your wing again :A

Oh welcome back Dizzy, so many people have asked after you over the time you have been away. I for one have been so concerned for you as I knew you were heading for a tough time [on top of the tough times you'd already had]. The tank lost a couple of wheels as well as a few passengers since you stopped driving :p. So welcome back and a great big big-hug-smiley-face.gif from us all [especially me cute-hug.gif ]. So have you moved from your penthouse then?

Did you know MrsM had a baby boy [Charlie]? He's started walking now :D.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Welcome back Dizzy, sorry to hear about your mum. :(

You have been missed on the thoughts of the day thread too. :A

  • I've just read on the FB 'Talk about SW group' that WW wholemeal pitta breads are now classes as a HEB again.

    Can anyone verify this?

I'm sure Stef will know. :A

I'm sat here waiting for my Roast Beef to finish cooking *drool* & will post my meals for the day later.

    Hope everyone is well. :A

On syns online there is a section called Hex updates. There is no further update to theM&S pitta breads being added and like i said before they were removed as they now contain oil, but there are some WW ones on the list - 6 pack of Wholemeal of which you can have one as HEB.
Also looking on the syns online they have updated the info on the seed sensations bread i have been having, before i just mentioned it was from an 800g loaf - today it is showing it must be the wholemeal one, i have been buying the 7 seeds original one :( Oh well, had a 2lb loss this week so something must be working and my pipe works seem to be a lot clearer than they were with just WM bread.

Yes, it says 1 of the 6 pack of WW pittas is a HEB. Let us know what they're like, it might be more filling to have one of those than a sandwich of 2 tiny bread slices.

    Enjoy your roast!
