well done stef (and your son)
glad its started moving in the right direction for you0 -
Hi all, sorry not been in for a couple of days, been an odd week, hubby off work and son off school (his school operate a completely different term time to the norm) and it has thrown all my routines out of the window.
Not really been following plan much this week BUT the food we have been eating have been healthy choices just not had the 1/3 SF. Although I did have pork chops tonight and I'm afraid the fatty bit at the edge seemed to jump off my plate into my mouth, so not sure what the scales will have to say on Sunday.
Thanks to everyone that has sent wishes for my birthday (I did do a multi quote thing but it got lost somewhere and I'm afraid I didn't much feel like going back through 5 pages to find them all again!). Welcome to the newbies that have joined while I've been away.
Stef, well done on your weight loss this week, looks like things are starting to go the right way for you at lastBit miffed I missed your question earlier as it would have been nice to give you some help for a change (I knew the answer for once! LOL) I think it was Blowden who answered you but that was right that 2 Ryvita Dark Rye are a SS where as 4 are just a HEB.
Oh well bedtime for me, so glad it's Friday tomorrow!0 -

Morning all,
Hope you're feeling better Lush and Beanie - it is really difficult getting back on track after a blip but you will be so glad you did.
Well done Mich, Rae and Stef - we've had some great losses on here this week
What does everyone have planned for the weekend? The weather is meant to be wet and miserable here but got a busy weekend planned. Big shop tomorrow followed by picking up a few bits in town and meeting a friend I haven't seen for months and watching the rugby with her and OH (well they will be, I have no interest in sport generally!). OH is most likely off out in the evening so I'm going to drive and go home for tea when my friend leaves. Sunday we're going to watch some friends run the Liverpool half marathon for charity, then they're having a post-run fun day, so again, I'll be driving. I actually feel a bit smug because although the main motivation for not drinking is the syns and not having to get buses and taxis, it is so nice to wake up the morning after being out and feel great. Dread to thing what state OH will be in though!
Green for me today:
B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), banana, raisins (3.5)
L: Low fat super noodles, satsuma
T: Spaghetti carbonara (A & B for bacon and cheese), rocket salad
S: Hi Fi light (3), Spiral (6)

I have really really lost the plot big time.
I have eaten unhealthy things big time since weigh in on Monday.
Including a jar of chocolate spread.
Cannot get my head into the right place at all.
Ho hum.
Hi beanielou,
This sound like binge eating, have you been depriving yourself recently? Cutting back on your syns? Small portion sizes?
My advice (if you want it!) would be to eat really big portions of free food plus your superfrees, and use all you healthy choices and use all your syns for treats on top...until you feel back in control. You will be eating loads, not feeling deprived and most importantly you will be back in control. Through my work I have seen people who binge eat and it is the deprivation that causes loss of control and binging...followed by feelings of guilt and either more deprivation or binging. It's about breaking the cycle. (I also speak about my own personal relationship with food!).
Sorry to hear you are having a rough time. Be good to yourself by keeping full (of the right things) and keeping your energy level and vitamins up.

Good morning, in my over excited state last night when posting i forgot to mention my son looks to be receiving the biggest loser award next week having lost the most on a thursday night. Soooo proud of him and his achievements. Made even better when the school rang to say his attitude and motivation have also improved in school - not allowed to say it is directly associtated with his weight loss but it was hinted at. Just hope we dont blow it this weekend once we get car back from garage when we take him for a meal for his birthday.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
