  • Aftternoon, hope everyone is well. Congrats to everyone on the losses & welcome to the new faces. :T

I spent most of yesterday in bed with a headache & feeling sick, it must of been a 24 hour thing as i'm fine today. I did try to eat 3 meals although due to feeling sick they were not at the proper times ie. I ate my breakfast at lunchtime, my lunch at dinnertime & my dinner in the early hours of the morning when I felt better. :o

    Yesterday
    B - 2 wholemeal toast (HEB), 2 boiled eggs & 2 satsumas.
    L - Supernoodles (10 syns) & 2 satsumas.
    D - 2 wholemeal toast, beans & 2 satsumas.
No snacks apart from a splash of milk in tea.

I weighed myself this morning out of curiosity & i'd lost 1 lb 4 oz's since yesterday. :o

Budge up Banjo's & make some room for me on that naughty step. :rotfl:
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Been to the weight loss workshop today which focused on Sugars. OMG all this weight loss malarky is now becomming a mind field which my poor little blonde brain is going to struggle to cope with :rotfl:

On a positive point though it was really interesting. I appreciate we are all SW'ers and know most of the plan inside out but this little side line is opening up a new mindset for me too. The lady had a box of the nutrigrain biscuits which are a HEB. Looking at the sugar content of these alone it states that they are 20% of our daily intake of sugar (we are allowed 90g per day) where as swapping to porridge means porridge is about 1.3g of sugar which is all natural. Again in line with SW its about making sensible swaps and knowing what we are eating and finding out why we arent losing some weeks when we think we deserved to. The carbs aspect too was interesting as they push for us having 3heaped tbsps as a portion of cooked pasta whereas with SW its a 'free' food to have endlessly. Again its natural sugars that will come from the carbs but they all add up over time.

Got weighed at the end of it despite stating i was skeptical about doing so as because i dont want to have all these different measurements floating around but those scales for now are showing a 400g loss - enough to keep a STS thursday but not enough for a loss even though i know theres a loss there now on paper. So to those who are also seeing STS it maybe there is a loss but just not enough to tip the scales ;)

It will be no added sugar you wont be able to get sugar free because of the naturals sugars in the oats and fruit.
25g of muesli is 4.5syns across all plans.
35g of no add sugar muesli by Jordans is a HEB.

evening all, need to snap back in gear SW wise as I have relaxed a little too much and this cold is making me snacky.

not going to the gym tomorrow now as I need to check on bf's little brother and the new tenants in the house his mum lets out! so it will be a brisk walk at lunch and then plenty of walking after work instead.

having a naughty night and eating a muller corner i got for 19p and then going to take tomorrow as a fresh start a do it as if I am starting the plan again from the beginning

    the definite plan:
breakfast: bran flakes (HeB) with milk (half HeA) sliced banana, tangerine
lunch: erm I think a chicken mugshot, two tangerines and a packet of space raiders (6) jelly pot (0.5)
    afternoon snack: tangerine
tea: 2skinny lizzies (2), smash and veggies
drinks: i have a 750ml glass bottle I nabbed at an event on my desk so I'm determined to drink that a minimum of twice in my work day tomorrow plus a cup of tea to start the day :)

thursday: same brekkie, soup for lunch (1) fruit and jelly pot (0.5), afernoon snack of space raiders (6) and then tea...I'm thinking chicken and mash with veggies for me and chicken with cheese and chips for bf. exercise: one hour walk at lunch

gym on friday, not going tomorrow because of needing to check on the lad and tenants and this cold. think by friday I will be over the worst of it! not been having my HeA the last few days so need to remember to have that too!

sorry to seem to be only posting down/ranty posts recently!!

Which brings me onto WI - last week I gained 2.5 (felt a bit cheated but never mind), this week stuck to it 100% and had 10-12 syns every day which is the norm for me, then had the full 15 on Sunday, and lost 4.5 :D Just a measly half pound away from my 5st! At least it gives me something to aim for next week!

well done you two.. fab losses!

its taken me 21 weeks to lose 1st 12.5.. seems my body is taking the slow and steady route, i'll take it tho :)

    today has been:
    B: all bran, banana (A+B)
    L: h/m veg + lentil soup
T: small gammon steak, egg, SW chips + salad.. pineapple, blueberries + yoghurt (1/2) for dessert

    peanut hifi (6)
not drank much water this week.. its been sooooo cold!

good luck for WI's all :)
