    Morning All

Robpw - Fab loss, well done
Blodwen - Wow!! Super loss :T I see you are still counting the pittas as HEB's, I got the M & S Mini sub rolls to substitute for my beloved pitta, but they just don't cut the mustard :( I can't stuff them the same as I could a pitta cut in half, so I am jumping on your wagon, going to still count them as an HEB, as you previously said, its still 60g Wholemeal :D

Todays SE menu for me, exact same as yesterday as DH decided to use up leftover stew from Sunday, add some mince, tatties and carrots and made a bit pot of stovies yesterday so copied yesterdays menu.

B - Pineapple, berries, FF yoghurt
    L - 1/2 tin salmon, tomato sauce (1 syn) large salad 2 x M & S WM mini subs (B), apple, satsuma, banana
D - Quick pasta bolognese (jar) 3.5 syns , will have a salad to start

HEA - 1 for milk, 1 for Laughing cows
HEB - 1 above & 3 x SS ryvita, will also have some fruit with this

Thanks :D Yeah, I know it's technically now a tweak but if we're having the ones that were previously allowed and it's not affecting our losses I can't see the harm - if it ain't broke and all that! The only difference is I now count 1 syn for it as well since the syn value is 7 rather than the usual 6 for a HE.

The Pitta breads from M&S are now baked using olive oil thats why they were removed from the HEB list, as some have said if you have been using them and still losing so be it but remember to allow syns for the oil.

For the last two weeks I've been a little like banjo and scared to max out on my syns, however this week I've decided to include little treats to show I can - please please don't put me on banjos naughty step xxx

This is me too!! Think I may have to try and get some low syn snacks when we go shopping this week because I'm really struggling to get them in at the minute! its okay if I'm cooking and add cornflour or mayo or something, but am scared to have anything else! Just can't trust myself to only have a little bit of something....
Prime example, bf had a bag of mini eggs the other night, the whole bag.. but i didnt have any, even though theyre only 1.5 syns for 2 eggs, because I thought once I'd popped I wouldnt stop!

Think this might be why I only lost 0.5lbs last week even though it was only week 2!! :(

    Also...what is a stovie??

    xx

I will count as 1 syn same as Blodwen then, I always used the ones on list, mainly Asda WM ones.

Dizzy - "Stovies" is a scottish dish, I believe it basically means a load of leftovers, usually containing potatoes, mince, veg, ours had potatoes, stew, mince, carrots & oninon, DH & kids like to dip in buttered bread in the gravy but I just ate mine out the bowl like a soup, so probably 2 syns for the gravy

    How does success express work?

I have family coming over at the weekend and over three days we have loads of things planned that revolve around “bad” food and drink. I’m just going to enjoy myself and have what I want but for the rest of the week I want to do as much as I can to limit the damage these 3 days will invariably do.

I’ve heard others mention success express and I thought I could give that a go. But I don’t quite know how it works

With success express its easier to say stick to the same meals as EE BUT, you would only have 1/3rd of a portion and 2/3rds superfree. You have 2 HEA's and 2 HEB's. Any snacks between meals must be superfree's. When you use syns you must look at the highest syn values in the books/online and use those.
